recent stuff, interiors, outdoors, and a portrait

Ok ok. sooo.
Hello guys!

Here's a bunch of new illustrations i did, based upon photos (that i made, except for the last one, low res from internet). World of fun doing them!
Interiors are from a serie called "comfortably numb", the outdoors from a another serie called "nuits américaines". All designed for print, various sizes, from 10x10 inches to 25x n inches

I posted a lot of things recently (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=63252), to introduce myself to you fellas, there is a world of inspiration in here, definitly motivates me to keep on.

All done with photoshop... Let me know what you think.

All I can say is 'dont stop what your doing!'

I really like these, especially the room scenes.

Wow. These are beautiful. However, I don't really like the fact that you named the first series comfortably numb since I don't see how it has anything to do with Pink Floyd. That's my only complaint.

Very nice stuff. I especially like the first one. It looks more like an oil painting than a digital piece. Great work!

really nice pieces, keep pushing forward!

the last image lacks the tonal and spatial depth of the others but it has good characterization.

Superbe, j'aime beaucoup le côté "carte à graver" de tes boulots. Beaucoup de bons boulots, de bonnes valeurs, les effets sont employés à bonne escient. J'adore les textures également. Chapeau !

Red face

Hi, thanks for the kind words.
Specific answers now:

Spacetoy: thx, i won't stop for sure, unless i go blind or something! cheers!

Dram: thanks.

Vigostar: eh! glad you liked. i also feel like that very often when i stare at some works at c.a. too!

threeeyesworm: eh! well, i use a LOT of songs and albums titles in my work. My way to merge those two passions, music and illustrations. I'm not sure it has to be a direct reference tho... anyway, i could have called it "living interiors" but Rosto made it before

Infinite: thanks, you too are adorable

jfwalls: glad not to be stucked to the digital look. i tend to go to an hybrid look in my work. Collage, paint, photos, CG. Only the result matters, the mood.

monani: had a tough time making this devil's workshop2. glad you like it. ok. i'll post more, gimme time to make more (damn jobs, need some freetime now, to focus on this).

bwkeough: yup, last portrait was made in a flatter approach, testing things.

m@: ok, so this damn devil's workshop seems to work! sweeeeet! take care (i definitly dig what you're doing btw)

Alday: mais bon sang, c'est qu'on fais dans l'exception culturelle ou quoi!?! merci. I use basic filters when needed only. Too dangerous and easy!

faust: shhhh, don't curse!

Love that pastel-watercolor style.
The last one is my favorite, the background is almost abstract. Kinda reminds me of Juan Gris and Picasso in their collage phase.
Can't wait to see more of that.

Thanks Michel, thanks Fedezz.
Eh, i think, as far as i can remember, that my last exam at school was about a painting of Juan Gris. Definitly someone i like.
I love collage for sure. Big inspiration of Rauschenberg as well...
