Great stuff, dood! Really good mix of stuff - I particularly like your guitar playing fellow and the crisp, clean mountain scene. Those silhouettes are darn good as well.

    Looking forward to moreward,

    Cheers, Nick.

Hi Mya! You were kind enough to drop by my sb, so I return the favour--and with pleasure, let me tell you, your work is absolutely amazing!

Your loose painterly style is so confident and beautiful to look at. Love your speedies, they all seem like a frame out of a film--although they don't have a finished look, I feel like there's a story behind every one of them. Great characters and expressions, they actually seem to be thinking something, which most find hard to achieve.

Well, enough asspat for now. I hope you'll keep updating

AsaB - Thanks a lot! (nicest asspat I've had in a long while) I'm glad you like the speedies.

zulu - I'm a big fan of Serpieri's art - uh, I mean, y'know because it's so technically strong and evocative, not because of the boobs or anything...

not quite sure i have any idea what you were on at the time that you decided to drop by my sb but mucho thanks, man (sorry.. are you a boy or a girl? just so i dont make an arse out of myself?)

You know how there is a thread for mentors and mentees? If you ever put your name down for a mentor please keep my name at the top of your list. there are quite a few things from your speed paintings and landscape/enviros that i would love to pick your brain about.

    Awesome awesome stuff! Post more

comixnut - Thanks for visiting! (Yes, I am indeed a bloke.) I'm not too sure i'd be good at 'mentoring' someone when i'm still learning so much myself, but i'd be happy to answer any questions, or give help if i'm able.

    Very cool ideas !
I'd work a bit more on the structure cause right now i see great colors but almost no depth to the image.
Keep at it man ! You have something going on !

that line drawing of the girl holding her coat open is great (and not just because she's got a tiny skirt) and the pic of the dinosaurs in the mist looks super professional, wouldn't look out of place next to some film concepts by justin sweet! v. cool.

wow what great characters! I agree that your compositions have great context - they imply things happenings, situations and moods. I really love those character designs silhouetted in blue too - they're so well drawn and their silhouettes are great.

Oh and an exquisitely modelled Zbrush head too? You've got it all!

MattGamer - Cheers, man - good to hear from you again!

CUBICcube - Thanks a lot, I feel like i'm starting to make more progress lately - I think focusing on particular aspects at a time is probably a good approach...your avatar's awesome, by the way.

cakeypigdog - Cheers, Jake! Struggled a bit to make that one work, but i'm fairly happy with it.

newman - Cheers Ben! I love your latest stuff - the fairy tale illustrations are top!

thek - Thanks for commenting! I'm glad some of the context is getting through - I'm never sure how well that side of my work is coming across...

TheGnoll - Thanks, man! I really love that mural in your sketchbook - i'd love to do something like that one day...

kelly x - Glad you like the speedies, Cakeypigdog & I try to do one every lunchtime - how many have we done now...?

Cool stuff, Mya! I like your robot pic - great lighting. There's a real sense of life in the eyes in the Joker pic, too.
