What Image Hoster do you use?

My problem is that I have tried photobucket, but...well...you can't really upload much and have a decent size to it. I have also tried imageshack, but it doesn't like me right now, and it's not working for me. Is there a free image hosting site out there that can unpload large files, more than image shack?

I hope this is the right forum, thanks for any help.

Invest in a paid host, get a good FTP software
that would be the best.. a good host dont cost more
than 30$/ year, If you have some luck you get a .com or any else
domain on that price also

I actually use pix.nofrag.com i like their mid thumbnail function.
As a rescue host, i use .com . Not as fast as pix.nofrag, but still handy.
    Thanks for the link Dile

Thanks for the tip Carnifex. I've been meaning to get away from photobucket for so long...

As far as the activation email is concerned, I didn't even check my email. As soon as I finished registering I tried to log in and it worked.

Cool stuff... imageshack and photobucket are blocked at my house so i had to resort to www.xs.to and some other freakin slow image hosting sites.
Now i'll be using lodge and frag from now on!

I use photobucket, for $30 you get 1 gig of space but the best thing is the unlimited bandwidth. I used to have a website but I always forgot where i put my stuff and usually forgot to pay it on time so it's too much of a hassle for a place where i just dump my sketchbook

With the ammount of ads that place has? I'd rather pay my 30 bucks and use as a backup.

I've used ImageEvent.com for a few years now and haven't had a single problem (except some small incompatibilities with the newest Mac browser--got around it by emailing zips). It's under $25 a year, 1500 items, and you can keep expanding space for one time $25 charges. Easy to use and very stable.

I just wish everyone would stop using photobucket, as I cannot see those images from one of my systems (I travel a lot).

    Yes, it's all about me.

Photobucket is one of the best out there.. ImageShack is the 2nd best; what makes ImageShack the 2nd, is the ImageShack has way too many advertisements and way too many steps in order to upload a picture.

in my humble opinion, PHOTOBUCKET FREAKING BLOWS: DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!!!!!!

What Image Hoster do you use?
sigh... was a lot of work to move nearly 250+ images to my webspace, but well worth it...

    Mike;

I'm not positive, but what I thought he meant was for their Portfolio pieces... not every pic they upload to their sb...
