Lorenzo! - that TUT just rocked my world. Thanks so much for the assist and explanation of your process. That was just too kind!! I especially liked the process leading up to Photoshop coloring.
What kind of paper and pens (or pencils) do you tend to use?
    Cheers!

Hey Redehlert! Pal, that's sooo cool that it helped in some way! I use basic HB pencils, and our own Blink Twice Comic Board, which can be ordered from our site, but only if you live in the UK, I'm afraid! It's the same grade as most other "toothy" Comic board, though, so anything will do it. The secret to producing good penciled pages for colouring is to keep 'em smudge-free, as it saves alot of clean up time in the computer, and keeps your lines crisp. I use sheets of paper under both my hands, it's simple, but effective! Thanks for showing an interest, pal!

Now, pictures! Hmmm... an older one this morning, I think, this being the "not quite right" Prattfalls Theatre shot from waaaaaaay back in Malcolm issue 9. Yikes! That's alotta' crowd to win over!

Back on Monday with more new stuff, folks!

Hey Fran! Good to see you, lady! Hoho! Thank you! Currently our stuff's only available in the UK, though MOON! will be an international release). Best place to get 'em is through our website: STUDIOBLINKTWICE.COM, go have a look-see! Thanks for the interest, girl, and for stopping by!!!

Hey Strang! Yeah! Mucha rocks! Thanks, pal!

Thanks mister Man! Glad you're digging, lots more environmental stuff on the way for ya!

Peterlee! Thank you sooo much, pal! More every few days, check back in if you dig the silliness! Hoho!

Well, I've had quite a weekend of it, as ole' Bobber's been staying for the past week, and we've been doing LOTS of work on Malcs, MOON! and all the rest! Good to see you, Bo-bo! Have a good hol! Anyways, back to the pics, right? Here's a lil' environment shot from MM10. Hmm, that Spearpike Point has a GREAT location...good views...easy walking distance to the shops, but MAN, you try getting post delivered! I tell you, it's a SHOCKING service! One delivery every 73 years, I'm just SO out of touch...

    More tomorrow, folks!

Okay, so one of the most enjoyable things about working on MOON! is that there's so much creation involved, it's kinda like having to write your own visual language. Recently I've been doing a load of flora and fauna stuff, ready for some of the more tropical planet environments. Here's one of 'em!

    More on Wednesday, folks!

Ooh, something else from MOON! today, a little web ad we were asked to put together for another comics site a while back, hope it makes you smile! That honest looking fellow's name is RATT, and he's rather important in the story, but more of him later. New stuff on Friday, folkses, see you there!

Hey Hitman! Thank you so much! Glad it inspires, pal, lots more variety on the way!

Hey AA! Pal, that's so kind! Thank you man! Very encouraging for me! Thanks for posting!

Redehlert! Hoho! I recon if you just search "blueline board" in Google you'll find a few good stockists on your side of the pond, pal! So cool you like the bouquet, pal! More bizarre plantlife on the way...!

Something a bit different today, folks, as we've just got a few pics from the Bristol con we did a month or so ago up on the site HERE. First up, here's one of my favorite sketches I did from the weekend, this one done for the very cool lil' lady Lefran who was down for the day with a load of guys from right here in ConceptArt:

STUDIOBLINKTWICE! The BIG thread! New images every week!

Then, at the end of the first day, a very talented surfboard shaper called Dale Walker showed up at our stand asking if I'd put some art down on the nose of one of his boards. Thinking it was gonna be a lil' boogie board or somesuch, I happily agreed, only to see him strolling towards our stand ten minutes later with his own personal, fresh off the bench nine ft longboard! Yoips! Anyways, you know ole' Lorenzo likes a challenge, so I took a deep breath and went for it...

    More on Monday, guys!
