Well I guess its about time I got a sketchbook going and starting taking advantage of what I have. I think this is an awesome site and am proud to be a member. I really need to accelerate my growth as an artist and useful feedback would be extremely helpful. I will try my best to post often.
This was actually drawn upside down from the way you see it with some prismacolor markers.

Alcian- I hear you on the values. . . FL is sunny alright! Were are you from? Pencil work? OK I will ccome up with some on the next post!
Dile- Uuuum, thanks fer the welcome but I'm not new here! More stuff you say? Your wish is my command!
WolfBane- Thanks fer checking out meh sketchbook! An' here is yer update!
Damn it! My first week and I'm already slackin'! Aaaaah! I need to start updating, so here!
An' here is a self-portrait in the markers again. I like the ear on the left, but I think I should of just left out the details in the eyes completely.

Oooo - LOVE the second one bro!! Both look great, but the second one does. I agree on the eyes with you: they're not needed, really. That pic makes me think of Andrew Jones' pic of a guy painting a portrait on a wall (that's a huge complement!)
Gonna be a blast following this thread!!
keep posting, don't slack off again!
Hey, man! You have to post more, but I'm liking your sketchbook. I agree the second drawing with markers is really good. It's well proportionated. I'm going to wait a little bit more before saying something about your drawings yet.
