these are from my fairly small sketchbook. Mainly ideas on poses and just getting my thoughts on paper. Enjoy,

I'm really liking your style. I like the top one best. Keep posting!
Yeah keep posting its great!!!
thanks for the kind words. I'll be sure to keep getting new stuff up here. Also need to post more of a variety.
Good, strong, confident lines - love your style bro. Is this graphite or pen or, as i suspect, both?
Keep us updated.

demented: thank you, all of these are pen, except the second which started with pencil, but then i threw some harder lines on with the pen. I find that, with my sketchbook, pencil isnt a good thing. It usually ends up smearing. It does make good shades and textures though. I am trying to go for more of a french styling with my art. Alas, i still have a far way to go.
my scanner is afk as of right now, i'll scan some stuff up tonight when she's alive and kickin'.
something i worked on today. Basic idea is around sound dynamics. so some black ooze creatures. haha, these were actually alot of fun to do. probably just another idea to get on paper and throw away.
ok some more stuff:
been working on a concept: basically a siren octopus mermaid, but its a bit more complicated than that
edit: sorry bout the size, some reason photobucket is being funky with sizes lately. grr....
edit2: well i figured it out. Much better.

some newer sketches:
i like your drawing style with the pen, its refreshing to see some loose concept work that is well thought out and not overworked

deadbunny: thank you! yes, i try to keep confidence in my work, but i like a sketchy feel to it. Hot + cold; laugh oh well.

You're building a good foundation .
Perhaps it will be a good experience to try and see how your hand behaves if you will try and lose some of the sketchiness and commit more to certain lines.
Will appreciate critique anywhere, anytime .
Oddo: thank you good sir! i will work on finishing some actual pieces for once.
some more photoshop fun:
also a quick coloring of one of my sketches:
flaskpost: thank you very much. I'll have some newer stuff up tonight.
perhaps some women need to be added to this thread then i can get stars and become famous. ah the possibilities are endless!!
Very nice I love the colours on the squid and the looseness of the last pic you posted.
I also like the stuff you posted in your 7th, 10th and 12th posts. Your sketchy stuff's great, but it's good to have more clean, solid pieces like these too. Whee
OooOoo, I want one of these jumpers!
a little something from today.
no scanner so cant really post anything traditional.
Very nice style going on. I saw you said something about French, and I can definitely see that. It sort of reminds me of some fashion design sketches since the body types are slender and slightly lanky, and the lines seem to whisp around the form. Very cool. I think your best stregnth is getting the proportions dead on, even in perspective. And your line work does a good job of suggesting form rather than overly defining it. Bravo!

thanks for the kind words, i'll put up some more stuff after class this evening.
having no scanner forces me to use photoshop, maybe thats a good thing.
I love the eyes in the latest post. They show so much expression. My only suggestion right now is to clean up your lines a bit. They're very sketchy and a little messy which makes the form harder for me to read. I would love to see what you could do with some simple contour lines. I'm working on this right now myself. Trying to let a single line do the speaking.
nice! I really like your penwork.
I like the different features on the people's faces. I need to learn not to make everyone look the same.
thank you, i do need to work on some gesture stuff.
and oddly enough, more eyes:
these are from reference btw.
just something quick for tonight.
another night sketch in photoshop. messing with brushes more.
took quite a while, but my first bench!!! omgozmgozgm...
anyways, special thanks to poopinmymouth.com for the tutorial.
no textures, just the model.
a quick one for the night:
