Here's some more examples of work that I've produced with Flash and a little bit o' PS. Feedback is more than welcome! Cheers
That's Slimer, he's their friend!
These are great! My two crits: green light in the bottom left of the ghostbusters one - seems to be coming from the border, but the border doesn't look like it's glowing much, really; and I don't like the purple effect on the Nightcrawler pic. I like the purple, the effect is just kind of confusing.
Great images, I love the life of the characters, I really like the Nightcrawler piece.
Couple questions.. Why work in flash if you are not intending to animate these? Wouldn't working in Illustrator or some other vector program be easier to work with? Also, what is the bad guy from Danny Phantom doing with all those badasses, haha.
Another quality rendition of Juggernaut

And great work on your "last supper" kinda peice, the fourth one. I just love it.
man, i LOVE your ghostbusters!
--finally one guy to apply the looks of the real actors into the cartoon's shapes!
#4 reminds of the last supper very much
If you want to achieve a even closer connection try to hint at the compositon of the original more!

Very appealing style, wonderful pieces.
Very nice. Love the background of number 3 especially
Number 3 has the juggernaut bitch!

wow that matrix interpretation looks sooo cool and fresh, love your style very pro
look I dont know why I love you I just do
very nice style, just checked your page. good drawing skills and master use of flash (your two animations) and I would like to see some more. Your figures are dynamic (form and line) with great color combination. Way to go, keep it up!
I admire your ability and patience for drawing in Flash. It can be a nightmare program at times.
Love the style.
yeh i like the matrix one too, yet the jedi is also well done. overall this rocks man
absolutely love your cartoony style! The line flow is flawless, and the sense of movement is apparent even in the characters that are standing still. keep it up!
man this stuff is kickin!!!! i LOVE it! post all youve got, this is sweet sweet

Sketchbook, click it or you'll hear from me 'till who laid the rails!
Slick line work, I love the bounciness of it. The Nightcrawler one is awesome, (BAMF has to be the best onomatopeia ever) but I'm not sure about the background.
man ghostbusters is the best of them all, to me that is, I grew up with the cartoo and until now I haven't seen anyone executing a pice as good as this one.
Thank you for sharing with us.
Keep on sharing...
Wow, you're work is fantastic, man! Saw the DC characters, too. LOVE your style.
Your'e doing this in Flash? Wow. Why Flash over, say, Illustrator, or just Photoshop? Got any notes on your process?

i love you.
rather reminiscent of cheeks-74's (sean galloway) work, as seen in teen titans if im not mistaken.. either way you can find him posting on these boards now and then. keep posting mate, i love it!
Wowza' I love this stuff keep it coming
i must say,i was just hanging around on devianart, then i saw your works.
now i am a big fan of you, and just can't wait for new stuff from you!
your style is extraordinary!
Crazy style, I absolutely love them all. They have so much motion and life, can't really find anything to criticize. Wouldn't want to do that either though.
Cool...Good cartoony style here.
I see that Kaare Andrews is a great influence in the second and third....
Wow! I've been gone for a few days, and I wasn't expecting all the great C&C! Thanks guys! I'll try and answer some q's that have popped up here too. Cheers
mcwolf - Strange, but I only just saw Andrews work recently, up until then I had never seen it. I love his work, it's much more fluid than mine by far!
Ray Dillon - I just use Flash cause I'm very comfortable with it and I really enjoy the crispness that it produces. I have used the other programs, but just find Flash the easiest for me. I have a basic tutorial on the coloring process in my DA gallery too.
Infinit - Good eye on the homage to the Last supper. I was trying to give that feel without copying the composition.
OSU_Samurai - I find Flash easy to work with, so I use it to do the colors. These could be animated with some work to break them up into symbols too.
That pic with Vlad was a commission piece and the commissioner requested those baddies all together
nonie - Yeah, I'm constantly trying new things with the efx, I'll probably try something entirely new if I did another NC pic down the road
Again, I'm humbled by the feedback! Thanks a lot, and when I get more I'll post it up!
