Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
A scene from my comic book project. Its about about a guy that lost someone who was very close to him. He´s going to the graveyard to visit him. And then something happens, and they enconteur again...
This image is him arriving to the graveyard, although you can't see its a graveyard this is part of a sequence.
this is a study of my possible graphic aproach. Its an emotional, sad story.
i'd like what you think of it what feelings you experience watching it.
i hope the image is not too big
image size is fine, even alittle small on my screen.
Yeah it looks cool, i'm really liking the colors, and the blurred
distorted style to the image works too.
Emotionally, I think overall it makes you feel, maybe alittle confused, and scared. It seems like you're trying to dissorient the viewer alittle.
But for a comic it's really hard to get a "feel" from just one image!
It could totally feel different in conjunction with other images.

it's a little bit the feelings the character is going to have so im glad i could transmit that.

i know, even more without the history. But when a sequence of it i'll post here. for now im researching diferent expressions
I agree with the other comment about it, it feels a bit confusing and disoreinted wich is good.
Also the characters perspective gives a feelign of dominance over the veiwer, sorta creepy.
I love the style though great piece....
OurSin, glad you like it
Here's another frame of the book. Its the scene where they meet each other for the last time.
back to the good old stuff, pastel drawing, i've been trying diferent expressions, digital , non digital, and soon im gonna try to mix them.
i like the first pic..has alot of feeling to it. the one where they are meeting for the last time isnt conveying sadness to me your colors are too warm try using some blues or cooler colors. unless of course you were not going for sad. anyways its always nice to see someone trying a different approach to comics.
paint! you *%$#@#$ u only have 1 life!check out ilad comics at www.iladonline.com
my first attemp to the beggining of the comic
the color of the first image conveys decay, but its not giving me any sadness whatsoever. His expression seems nonchalant if not light-hearted. Some little tweaks there, and a little blue around the character perhaps in the shadows.

what is nonchalant?
i've done a new version of it, here it is
very nice, i like this page.
you have a sense of flow in it, you can make an imaginary line that goes around the panels.
seeing as how this page has a much more blue theme, i think you should make the first page that shows him entering have the same blue theme.
Yes i've already give it the same blue theme.Originally Posted by figure of frgt10

One more, this one is from a part of the history where they hug each other and he has memories of moments passed with her.
I have completed this project, finnishing the book and presenting it to the jury and i have my degree now.
So i leave you some images of my final project, which is a comic book, but maybe graphic novel is a better word to describe it.
This is a story about death, the lost of dear people, how to deal with it.
I had a lot of fun doing it and i hope i publish it one day.

designboot - Thanks.
Raul Tabajara - Obrigado O rectângulo deitado é pq tinha a ver com a história, pois fala de morte e passa-se num cemitério, e além disso ajudava nos planos panorâmicos.
rabeat - Hello! I'm from Portugal. Thanks, it´s the project im most proud of. It is not published yet, the size gave some problems for being published although im planning to print it myself and sell it.
