well i am getting a scanner two weekends from now to scan my artwork. but i have no idea what i am looking for as far as a good scanner to scan artwork. like what kind of features&such should i be looking for scanning artwork? anything that could help me...also if anyone knows what the price range for a decent scanner is? that would be a HUGE help.
i`ll keep looking but if i dont know what i`m looking for its kind of defeating the purpose.
I second this question ... I have some large pencil drawings I'd like to scan ... something that could handle subtle value transitions and are reproduction worthy. Since they're fairly large ... I'd need to stitch multiple scans together ... so I also need consistent results.
Thanks, in advance, for any advice.
