    Arrow A Light in Darkness

    A Light in Darkness

This piece started out as a cloth exercise and then it evolved into this. It took a little over 10 hours and it was created with Adobe CS2 and a Wacom tablet. Your comments are much appreciated.

interesting piece but, the image doesnt seem to connect with the BG. try adding some blue highlights around some of the leaves and branches.. also the blue light around her body doesnt seem to wrap around her body or in better terms... the blue light doesnt seem to blanket her. ther should be some blue around the front as well as some very light areas.. like if you painted over the whole body in blue then lowered the opacity so that you can see through the light...

Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd

that reminds me of luthien in silmarillion. when beren first sees her in the forest and thinks he was dreaming

nice work. my only crit will be about the hair. seems a bit stiff and underdetailed. other than that, i'm digging it a lot.

dinfet - Thanks, it's always nice to receive positive feedback.

vigostar - Thanks for the crit, I can see why you think she doesn't fit well with the background. I purposefully made the background a lot darker than she is so she would "pop". Even the highlights on the leaves and trees are very low.

ender - Thanks for the comment, hair is definitly a place I need to improve in. I plan on working on it a lot in the future to improve my skills
