    Anne Frank...

    http://www.dearannemovie.com/

An already creepy subject but having her "move and breathe" makes it vicerally freaky. I can't wait. Anyone knows what music plays on the teaser ? Drives me nuts.

Foster worked on this. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about it.

whoa. I know it's a serious subject and all, but when Mr. Deepvoice says things like "there is a door... beween light and shadow" it makes me want to pee myself laughing. Looks way "artsy and deep" in a hollywood-fake-artsy-and-deep kind of way, but maybe that's just the preview...

what did Foster do on it?

I watched the trailer, and quite frankly, I'm confused. Is it supposed to be animated? It sure looks real. And is it a fictionalized fantasy version of The Diary of Anne Frank?

in the credits, Foster, Milligan, and Ashley Wood are listed... I'm actually surprised this movie's seeing the light of day, last I heard there wasn't permission from the family to use Anne Frank's material.

wow heres a minefeild of oppinion struggle but heres mine.
poor germans can never have a break can they. there are so many other horrors of war and casulties out there to be
    illustrated and animated.

this project will only enhance the favoritism of victimis of the planet if you ask me.
especially when there is a talanted artist like foster onboard. then it will look good.

i have read the book and all i asked was why didnt they kick the nazis ass.?
i mean if a bunch of soldiers where to harass me i kick their ass. even if i would die.

great writing and story but i think we heard enoufgh of the struggle of the jews have we not?

can not even imagien if the world was to create the swedish army as something evil all the time. or bring back bad memories of the armys past.
    i be pretty pissed eventually.

im not a racist or anything, and its still a sensitive subject. so for fosters and milligan`s sake i hope the project becomes a winner, but for the project itself i hope it fails.

just my two cents. an oppinion of many i hope.

I dont think you'd come to the part of kicking asses when a troup of german soldiers would come to collect you. . . .. and why not? fear, rather life then die? they didn't knew what would happen to them.

Wow thank for the link Hillartsympho ! I seldom visit the Finally Finished forum anymore.

Dave, I hated the voice over too... Those catch phrases sound like they have no place here... but hey, it's artsy and seems to be taking itself pretty seriously.

Mort : I won't start an off-topic flame war, but you're entitled to your opinion. I don't know how many people share it, altho you can spot groups of them pretty easely...
