Genso- I don't have a website at this time, but when I get one, I'll post a link.

mondegreen-You know my thoughts on that issue already...

    whiteeeeeee-Thanks

designboot-Woah, save words like that for things more deserving...

conceptzaholic10-Thanks, though none of my stuff is inked, just poorly scanned.

Like fattkid said, looks like you're in an upward curve. Your figures are coming along real well, but you could use some training in doing clothes. Well, so do i frankly

fattkid-Thanks dude. You need to come around more often.

walnut-Man, I totally agree. I need practice at everything, but you are right that I totally blow it on the clothes. No throwaway elements...

Someone recently pointed out that I don't update this anymore...I guess I've gotten too lazy to scan my sketchbook. Life is busy, a lot of stuff I can't post here, but I'll try to throw some sketchbook and my attempts at painting on here when I can...

I need to find a better scanner.

Like the pencils, saw your work on cgtalk too, good job. Very clean figures, I love your use of light in your pencil drawings when you bother to shade. Some of your works are very cartoonish/anime influenced it seems but look cool so keep it up!

I do the same thing with my own characters. It seems that when your drawing them, you say this gonna look so fu#king awesome that Ill shit my pants, and when you finish it, youre like, HELL!! I'm not showing this to anyone, maybe ill re draw it later, an you never do, so it'll always look like that. LOL. These posts are really inspiring. You are definitely one of my favorite artists on this site. makes me motivated every time i look at one of your characters and life studies. Well back to drawing board, keep up the work.

Absolutely gorgeous... I really like the patern on a blanket on which woman is sitting on one of the recent pictures...I know it's nothing big but just grabbed my attention...
Also all the characters, very fresh and...your own.
The downside is... well, you could propably post more hehehe

Now it has really been way to long since I've been in this inspiring book. I don't know where to begin. Your life drawings are great, love the line quality, very confident lines. Your most recent drawings are really nice, I can really see the emtion in the profiles of the last page. I love the design qualities of the last page also. Those digi enviornments in post 220 are great also. Love the monkeys. man keep rocking out man, thanks for the works in my sb and the inspiration in yours. Keep doing what your doing!!!

Envisor-That's the way it goes, always looking one step ahead of where you are. Sometimes it's discouraging, but that's how you get better. Aim high.

Diagoro-Cool buddy, I'm glad you get somthing out of it. So much inspiring stuff on this site though... overwhelming sometimes.

Grim Reaper-Thanks man. Yeah, sometime's little stuff just grabs you like that. Whenever I see something like that in someone's work, I try and ask "Why is this so appealing", so I can hopefully get to the root of what makes stuff speak to people.

Darktwin-You comin' here, talkin' me up... thanks.

    KOGAKURE-Far from it friend...

Some more stuff. Things have been really busy lately, but I should have more time soon

Great update. The colored piece is awesome and the sketch of it is also cool. The life drawings are beautiful. Wondering why you didnt draw the faces of the women? Keep us posted.

LOVIN the rich colors you put in your digital works! Fantastic!

Your figure sketches are amazing as well, I love the sense of hatchwork in your pencil lines.

    Good job!

    Envisor-no time=no faces

Zoroko-I admire people who aren't afraid of saturated color, but I tend to over saturate my paintings, a habit I am working on kicking.

AvatarJimmy-Well, I'll just crit myself if you won't provide one: John, include more darks! Why are you so timid about it? There.

Darktwin-Yes...I should draw some freaking buildings or something...

    One for tonight

Sealegs-Come to join in the fun? Excellent.

It has occured to me that around now is about the one year mark since I joined CA and started this thread, and coming up on being the third year since I started drawing. I looked back through here and cringed at much of what I saw, but that's a good sign. The farther I get, the further it seems I have to go; I am still so very far from where I want to be. But thats what keeps this interesting. If drawing was easy, everybody would be good at it, and then we'd all be screwed... respect to the Endless Journey.

    Couple more... lazy.
