Haven't seen you around these parts in ages, Kim. Could you pass me the reciepe for that red onion in boiled in a can of beer one of these days?

Great to see some updates, I like the landscape thumbnails as always.

The knight has a few issues though: the hand holding the hilt of the sword is too small and holds the sword in a weird way, the right shoulder (especially the chainmail there and the armour) is much wider than the left side, and the hole in the chestplate for the arm on the left is huge. The feet are kinda tiny. Good to see you do more character stuff though

    Traditional media!

    Hi all!

Well, I have recently got myself a cute little room all of my own to make into a studio. With the kind help of 'form' Here in Aus, I now also have an easel!

Here are some of my first few paintings and studies. The paper-study and portrait is done with artisan water-soluble oil paint and the other landscapes were done with acrylics. Im loving the feel of brush on canvas.... so addictive.

P.S. Yoitsi - Right on the money... good crits. A prime example of being excited to make it look cool.... without making sure the drawing was right first. Always comes back to smack ya when you shortcut the drawing. More pushups required....

Your stuff is awesome. More please.
It was great meeting you at Hellmouth Sketchmeet, your demo was very inspiring and taught me much about PS brushes.

Here is a speedy.. I have been painting a lot this week for NDA stuff so its nice to do a doodle for myself! Im finding a lot of how I paint is changing since I have started to paint traditionally. It really really speeds your thoughts up.... by slowing them down. I spend far less time fiddling and just hit the marks that get me there faster.
