    The Fultron's Pensil Pandoodlings

    hello anyone who comes here.
Here is a few sketches from my gritty rag of a sketchbook.
some images have breakfast stains on them, there might also be some trains here and there because my two year old insists I draw thomas and friends characters for him all the time.
    enjoy,
this first one is some basic figure drawings, no ref.

this next one is portraits, no refs.

here are some concept scenes and action poses. aslo no references here

lastly here are some acture still life drawings from toys and taxidermy animals at the museum of nature history in regina, Sk.

Critiques and overpaints of my work are both welcome and encouraged, as I am fairly new to the art of sketching.

Interesting pieces here. The biggest issue is the amount of "sketchiness" in your drawings, that being, that instead of using long well planned lines, you use short, heavy strokes that gives your pictures a very rushed, unconfident look. Anatomy seems to be an issue, so i'd suggest you to do your anatomy studeis .

    Sepulverture,
you have some very good points there. those two issues seem to be my biggest shortfall. my biggest frustration is that I don't have much access to live models.

Don't need live models to study anatomy, there are tons of free pics on the web to act as models. For example: porn. Go check out some porn sites and right click and save some of the pictures. There you have it, instant nude model. All kidding aside, there are threads around the forums talking about Loomis books. Get your grips on one of those and you'll be in business.

Well, just keep drawing from life and it should work. Like was said, plan lines better and stuff, but you look well on your way.
