i heate you, i wish i could drow like that when i was 14 years old, all i can say is that to practice practice, open a bock of anatomy and drow from that, then go do some life drowings, and in little time you'll improve, anyway i wish you all the best, kep up the good work.

Nice work here, some of the portraits are good, but u still have to work on the proportions. So some real life studies or something.

Check put my schetchbook if you please

Great to have you on the SSG.

Even though you haven't posted anything today yet, I'll give my today's criticism now... In your last sketches it seems you've placed the mouth in halfway between the nose and chin when it should be 1/3 of the distance between them from the lowest point of the nose. You've got it right in earlier sketches but it seemed so frequent in the new ones that I thought I'd point out. Also, some of the faces seem crooked otherwise too so you might want to study the simplified head construction from http://www.fineart.sk/index.php?s=16&cat=14 for example and keep the ball and line in mind for future sketches.

Anyway, you're doing great! I was shocked when I noticed your age... Incredible stuff from a 14-year-old.

Looks like you're really interested in face studies which is a great thing to improve on. I was going to post a link to a tut on facial construction, but it looks like Smuli beat me to it. For now, I'd say focus on defining the form in 3d with line, and hold off a bit on the rendering. A really nice start here, especially for one so young. Looking forward to seeing more.

The Photoshop-painting could use more hues but it's a good start... love the cloth rendering. The muscle studies look great too, keep those coming.

man, you have some huge pics here
the ref drawings look very good, i wish i did this kind of stuff when i was your age, these will certainly prove useful...i guess the fact i imediatly recognized Bruce Willis from Sin CIty before i read it was his is good
keep on practicing, it may seem boring, but its gonna be useful (and give your brain a break with some imagination stuff, that's what i always say )

    ciao

Not much to say....when I was 14 I was hardly able just to copy characters from comics...You have good anatomy studies here, you seem to understand tonal values very well...keep on life drawing, wich is indeed usefull, I could tell you to start studying perspective. The more you own perspective rules, the more effective will be your drawings.
Anyway, I can see great potential here, the vector one is simply great.
    See you tomorrow, keep posting

Oops, thought i had poste here yesterday. I dont have much to add to what's been said, just keep on drawing, focus on the big, three dimentional shapes, practice general proportions and you'll do great. One thing, though...cross hatching doesn't mean that you must hatch in crosses. Use long strokes to shape your objects.

Oh, and try to draw as much from life as possible.

    ahh only a young whippersnapper...

the tone you get with your crosshatching is great, especialy with those arm and leg studies though it seems to be missing from your few life studies.do moer of those.

only other thing I can add is when drawing refrenced faces make sure you have things in the right place and of correct porportion before you begin renderinging it, try turing the picture upside down or look at it in a mirror to see it differently.

awesome start, can't wait to see what you'll do in a few years

I don't know if Photobucket resized those for you or something but they're pretty hard to see.

There's still some construction problems in the head. The eyes should be about in the middle (or just a wee bit above it) and the ear should be between the heights of eyebrows and nostrils. The ink drawing looks good and clean, considering you didn't use a pencil.

    Looking forward to seeing more.

Ooh, small pics. I'd say go for an average of 500 pix for the width of the image. The third one looks nice to me, but I'd like to see them bigger before I make any real comments. Keep posting
