Mounted Predator For Hunters (updated 3/14)

This was supposed to be for COW but I missed the deadline.
I like where it was heading so I'll continue to develop it.
I also saved my steps for anyone interested.
    Crits welcome of course.

Awesome work as usual. Nice to see the progression of the sketch too.
Something I've been meaning to suggest to you for a while now...Just something you may want to experiment with. Instead of keeping the dark outline of your sketch, try making the sketch around the same hue of the skin color or other prominent color in the body.
Can't wait to see the final version!

looks like you have a good feel for the aesthetics of animal bodies, I like it! looks almost like a blend of horse and crocodile features.
the coloring is nice, but you should try out some other colors as well.

It's a blend of horse, dog, and dinosaur anatomy. I added the semi-final art to the steps above. Cleaned up the linework in the drawing so that heavier weights are toward the bottom, added some subtle greens and reds in the hide color with a mottled pattern.
Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated!
