    The Walking Dead

I only did the colors. I'm not done, spent about 3 hours on it so far. Any suggestions would rock. Tony Moore is an awesome artist and coloring his work is very fun. Look him up if you've not seen his work before.

I'm a HUGE fan of The Walking Dead and I think this is fantastic, really captures the feel of the books. Isn't this scene in the daytime though?

Pixeldragon, you're correct. I kind of got confused, I meant for it to be done, but wanted to express I'd gladdly change stuff. Bad use of words on my part, thanks for pointing it out and I appologize for my error.

Musasa, indeed it was =] What kind of idiot goes to get guns from the undead at night! I just colored it like this to make it more creepy. It seems most WD fans hate this coloring, while non WD fans like it. Truth is the original greyscales were too damned good to compare to. =] Moore knows how to handle his markers.

If he wanted something a bit more realistic (in terms of zombie overrun worlds) they would have carried long blades, swords, icepicks, sharpened spades, etc. no firearm is usefull, because when your out of ammo, your screwed oh, and maybe a crossbow for medium range stealth shots and the abillity to attach multiple types of heads to an arrow if you find them

Hey guy, technically, the drawings look good. But, the zombies don't look scary enough. I mean, if I were those guys, I'd just politely excuse myself and walk around them. make 'em mean...make 'em look like they're trying to eat their brains.

Yeah i agree with sevnraiz. I think you should paint the zombies in a more menacing, maybe red-ish light. darken them down a bit. just something to set them apart.

That's really nice coloring! I have some of The Walkjign Dead TPB's, and this coloring really makes it justice. Great work!

Thanks Sarcophagus, I wanted to try to keep the original feel of the books. In this section of the book however guys, the zombies had just noticed them, and hadn't and weren't attacking yet.

Yeah, it's the part were they cover themselves in zombie-flesh and blood, right? Waiting for the third book to come right now actually. I look at your coloring, and still thinks it's really nice. Which means it is really nice.
