    W Intuos 3 coming loose

I've had my Wacom Intuos 3 for about 10 months now. For several months it just sat on a shelf without me using it. Now I've started using it more again. Yesterday while I was sketching I noticed the drawing area stuck to my hand (coming loose). Now, the whole drawing area isn't loose but the bottom right quarter of it is and it sticks to my hand when I use it.

Has anyone experienced this? Do you think the warranty will cover this problem since I'm not guilty (except for resting my hand on the tablet while drawing) and I haven't worn it out at all (except for some minimal dust on it)? I don't want to go through the hassle of sending it back to the online company and then finding out I'm not getting it fixed or a new one in exchange. I bought it from www.webhallen.com .

    All help appreciated.

Edit: Well, I've sent a letter to webhallen anyway.

Happens to me, but not as frequent as a year ago. I think humidity or sweaty drawing palm causes it (tablet heats up too, maybe loosening the bond). I've read that some people actually remove the surface to give a better pencil-on-paper feel.

Put a tiny drop of super glue underneath the corner if it bugs you. The surface gets a lot of abuse from the stylus anyway (scratches, etc.) that I don't really worry about it anymore.

I've got an Intous 1 (A4 size) and it has a thick transparent plastic sheet on the drawing surface. It's supposed to be loose so you can put papers under it and trace. I do this sometimes if I have some marks on a paper I want to transfer to the canvas without scanning.

Not sure if that's the sheet you're talking about though.

Wow, that puts an enormous weight off my chest (maybe I should stop doing those push-ups and use the time for posting here instead).

    Thanks.

Whoa, I always thought mine was just getting old and used. This is a very pleasant discovery.
