Oh I love the use of white on those toned paper drawings. Well done to say the least. I can learn some stuff from those. The painting looks good too. As you know how to draw it helps you paint better. Gouache is one of my favorite mediums, would like to see lots of more gouache stuff from you. I just don't like the black outline, but what the hell...

oh, man. i haven't been visiting ca.org for such a long time. i'm so sorry and "shame on me" for neglecting all of your progress for so long...
i haven't been sketching and painting that much - for the last 6 months i have been maily concentrating on photography and my daily photo project, so there isn't much new from me sketch-wise. jobs, thesis and photos have taken its toll...
stunned me that i actually got a comment on this book not too long ago, so thank you all for your kind remarks.
i'll try and stop by your books in the next couple of days!
a small "teaser" maybe, a very quick digital master study from this morning, just to get things starting a little... it has a lot of flaws, so i maybe coming back to it to give it a more finished look some day...
thanks a bunch for having a look, hope you're all doing fine.

long due update
darktwin & dreamworker - thanks for having another look, guys! i'll make sure to stop by at your books soon!
man, i haven't been drawing or painting for a long, long time. every now and then i managed to do quick studies, but that was about it.
concentrated on photography, since i was earning some much needed money with it... look a 4 hour life drawing class once, but i scanned/photographed not all of the results yet...
so here's just a small update with pieces i did in the last couple of months. quite rusty, but i hope to get into drawing more soon...
as always: crits & comments much appreciated.
