I don't know how many times I can say it today, but I am digging your latest Pearce study.

I like the Eakins and Sargent studies very much. They disclose your growing technical and artistic sensitivity to value. The Pearce piece is pretty illustrative and sort of accords with the previous apprehensions and recommendations on line and "calligraphy". Where are you Spencer?

I really like your fluid line and gesture drawings, its just.. so nice to look at and easy on the eyes. I got into that when i did a few life drawing classes months ago but i was never able to get it down to as few strokes (Mine generally up being chaotic), yours look really neat and well placed!

Id like more of them :E

Nice work with the neck and all that. It's a little awkward critiquing because I feel pretentious and yours is great work anyways (ahead of me). But what struck me as sort of inconsistently illustrative was the nose and the harsh contour (really fine quality but not communicating with the rest of the drawing). Are these all in your sketchbook? I'd like to see them in person. Great work. Saturday-

Thank you all so much for your comments!

Tensai - thanks so much for commenting and voting for 4 stars, it's always a pleasure to hear from you.

    Quick Sketch - Thanks bro!

Stuter - Thanks a bunch dude, I try to keep my drawings as bold as I can.

Listing - Thanks Miles! See you this saturday.

Jackwhat - I am very flattered by your comment, my goal has always been to create artwork that will flow and be as least confusing as possible. As far as figure drawing goes, the more you do it the more you know what are the major landmarks and the things that need to be described early on. And as you develope you will be able to describe more detail with less line.

Here's the pose from life drawing today. 4 hour pose. I don't like it very much at all, particularly the feet. But I have learned a lot from it. I guess you gotta take baby steps.

Oh My God I envy you so much. You ve got a lot of talent. Your art is perfect and the quick sketches you make are really incredible. Keep up the goodwork. Just one question..How long did it take you to get these skills? Plus whihc books are you talking about. Can you please suggest me a good book about anathomy and realistic life drawings?
