That's freaking insane Dile. Love the textures. They're incredible great use of focal points as well!

Hey Dile, I'm feeling the colors in this last painting, really like the atmosphere. The environmental piece on the previous page is sick man; I Really enjoy the textures and the lighting that you are working with. I agree with Bendragon though, I'd like to see those traditional paintings you are working on sometime : )

finally you wake up from your slumber of stupidity and start drawing again. you're not failing man, you're now trying to catch up on all the hours and months you missed from drawing and improvement you could have achieved. don't do that again! you are an inspiration to me and keep your hand sketching even if you're busy eating. never stop, never give up!

    cheers and post moarrr :]

hm i like the tree one good sense of atmosphere and texture, the one above it though with the spaceship looks less like a concept painting and more like you quickly painted on top of a city picture. --which you did

Those speedpaints above are seriously cool - I really like that loose style. Can I ask what sort of brushes you used to make that piece?

I can't believe youve got almost 100 pages, thats such dedication! Have been flicking through your SB to try and learn a few things, but most of what I've learnt is that your stuff is a A LOT better than mine :p Haha was worth it anyway, keep it up!

Just saw your post 2648 - WOW that "EU ends here" piece is awesome!!!!

I love the layers and the colagginess of this one:

Great job. The unfinished look adds as well.

Dile, I've looked from the beginning of your thread to the latest. And I must say. I am very impressed at the determination and courage you've shown me and the rest of the community.

The whole "Den Incident" in the first couple of replies was truly disheartening for me to read, as I too have been bad mouthed by "elitists know it alls" in the past (and even today).

Your art is full of emotion, and your progress is set for success! I hope to come back and become inspired once again =)

Just draw your ass off. Whatever you do, don't -- stop -- drawing...

hey man, its good to check in again, its been a while but looks like you are doing some cool stuff!
I know the tree one is a speedpaint, but dont forget to think of the form and structure of the tree, maybe a more solid simple form on the trunks and possible a darker tonal area there would help bring out the foliage more. So having different kinds of shapes of 3d forms will give it even more life. I think the colours you have are great, thats the only small thing that might help to think abut for next time!

edit: p.s i've been thinking a lot about failure lately and what it means, and well, this ain't a book of it

Man... just going through this from first page to now, just unbelievable when you see the development. One thing I'd love to see more are hectic character designs!
