love the robots dude. The warriors ankles need slimming dow nat the base though. Also The colours in your portraits are looking a bit brown and yellow. Introduce some cool shadows

Amazing stuff. I love the last portrait you did in post 288 especially. It has a very soft and painterly quality to it.

thanks alot guys! am gonna start posting again.. i know i keep saying that but last week has been life changing. I wasn't at the workshop or anything. but its been the best week of my life nevertheless! And i'm been doing studies all week.. its been great.. i'm gonna post em up in next post.. fuck yeah got some here aswell.. digital.. i've learnt that I got some very basic fundamentals down just plain wrong.. not something 'huge' like anatomy .. i know i suck at anatomy.. but other stuff like eye level and position and how it affects the surface of a material depending on the direction to the sun.. its really super basic if your not lazy like i am.. : o I'm been thinking about the light source and the subjects that the lightsource is hitting as something very static. While still making a second thought about 'big' reflective lights.. i haven't really thought it through i think.. hmm will be trying to figure it out asap. now! And yes.. I've also studied anatomy.. fun .. mock inspired the hell out of me on Ventrilo 2 days ago and i think its already paying of partially haha thanks mock. anyways i should quit ranting.. the purpose with this post is to introduce myself to posting everything i got.. daily.. even notes and thoughts and build a real sketchbook.. not just digital sketches and crap.. like i always do i guess i'll have to introduce myself to the pencil in the next post aswell muhahaha. Some is old some is new.. i'll try to dig shit up and post )))))) love you guys! will reply next time

I dig that Tank dude. I can picture it being fairly mobile. The overall idea is great, Id like to see your idea of it put into a 3/4 view.
You have some good versitility with the figure mechanic and enviroment images.
    All the best

NICE bridgman studies man! You are getting very good!

PS: Why do you have SHIT colors?

What I mean by that, how come you always use that brownish palette

And yeah, do that tank in another view, so you utilise your 3D imagining skills. Also, when u do your next guns, do them in another view besides just the side view.

    You're crazy

ARGGGGGGGGGGGG~ Great studies here. Your environs are so freaking good.
Can't wait to see those pencils. Anyway.

That tank looks really sweet, perhaps make a painting of that tank in a real fight scene? Or a battle of those tanks?

Anyway, maybe post some longer paintings instead speedies. Something that makes me drool over. Oops~

And, would you mind giving me some crits again? Kinda miss your awesome crits~

Haven't checked on you in awhile, I gotta say though, you've given me more motivation and inspiration than a lot of pros on here haah. Last time I checked on this book was probably two months ago everything's looking groovy.

You should really do a few(tons of) fully fleshed out still life pieces, like art gallery quality stuff. I feel like that would really help you push your rendering to a totally new level. I don't know if you have a chance to do life drawings from models yet, but once you do you will see such a huge improvement in your figures. I started college in feb and have been doing about 22 hours of figure drawing a week since then and I noticed that it just totally boosts the believability of your characters from imagination as compared to when I only did studies from photos, posemaniacs n' such.

Try spending at least 15 hours on one still life, I think that'll really boost your overall rendering ability, try to get it as accurate as you possibly can.

ohyah and keep up the hard work chief

shit couldn't get around to post this yesterday since my friends forced me to go see Fast and Furious which i actually ended up enjoying ; )

Thanks for the great crits ! Especially Kvick! I'll reply next time i have a headache now. heres some sketchbook pages... and yeah i'm focusing on the anatomy and character right now since that is my weakest area in art.. color shape and value comes easily while Pencil, lines and character does not. I need to spend wayyyyy more time at my shit.. i already notice how making masses of hogarth studies help , even when i make random doodles with quick gestures.. yum and shit this upload system is annoying as hell.

Great sketchboook! Though I have to say your concepts/environments in ps are much stronger than your figures.

Wow, a lot of nice studies. Your pencils are so sweet.

Still I would say that your environs look better though. Maybe that is your strong point?

Anyway, be harsh on weak spots, start a war and DESTROY THEM ALL! Hahahaha~

    You're such a inspiration.
