hey dile, thanks for stopping by in my sb! really like that july 21st page (especially the chef in the upper right). think that page really shows your progress in catching the form and light. but (like mentioned several times before) i would love to see more traditional stuff from you. well, anyway, great book, hope you have a wonderful summer! cheers
hey man, thanks for the site with Anime books, i'm ordering Rakugaking by Katsuya Terada now.
I wanted to see if i could find it on amazon or in the uk, wasn't totally ignoring you
anyway, the monolith picture is a nice piece, few crits: The shadow should be darker, it wouldn't start fading halfway.
i think its would benefit from some highlights on the right side.
try and dim down on the spiky things, i'm guessing they be platforms or aerials or something, but it looks like a catcus (sp) i think i'd be better if that where a little larger and more detailed, few lights maybe? so people know wat there looking at. unless its totally meant to look like a catcus.. haha.
few things i thought could help.
the lizard man in the page above it is nice, his left arm has a good feel of solid and good structure. the dude in the grey armor is nice to, update!
Hey dile. Your EOW entry shows good potential, i think you should do a few more enmiroments. You seem to be trying everything at the momment, which is fantastic, i saw your 3D work aswell and its good to see you trying alternative forms of work, especially for your age.
hey dude, returning the favour your digi stuff is great, considering your age. I still urge you to work on pencil/basics more, i cant stress the long term benefit. However it is also important to work the imagination muscle, so that is good to see. I like the eow, good stuff, the angle is good although I cant decide weather I like the lack of definition but it is a strong piece, great effort all up!.
anyway good work keep it up, but try branching out and exploring some more fundamentals, you pin them down now you can spend the rest of your life doing imagination work and there is no way to escape working on basics, you just need to motivate yourself to do it. Good stuff bro, hope to see more
