    very nice pens !
About the face, don'thesitate to use bigger brushes. Afterwards you can come back with a more subtle one to fix a few things, but keep the brushwork as simple and clear as possible !!
    Keep drawing !

Hey whats up? nice updates, i like this page: http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/6177/townuu3.jpg Did u use markers on those? I've been using copic brand markers and inking pens for doing environments and they work great. You have to get a marker pad to go with them. I saw that page and i thought i should tell you about those markers, they are the bomb. If you have a Dick Blick art store in your area, they carry them there, i've really started to like them. anyway, keep it up.

Lots of cool stuff! keep pumping it out man.

    Your'e oly 15!!??

I give up, (no really) but it is depressing seeing all this talent so young. Too bad I didn't get serious about my art until I was a year older than you are now.

BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD!!! (I mean that literally)

    Thanks for inspiring.

whoa, shit!! guys, thats a lot of feedback and critique I really need to go to sleep now.. I have been working on this piece since about 1 am, so its been 3 hours now.. I was kinda brain storming, I didn't really know what to do, but the "colour-pallete" i used for the brainstorming was kinda tuchten-inspired, oh well, 15 layers and 3 hours later...

haha offandontopic there, however I will get back to you lovely people as soon as i can, THANKS A LOT!

    nice one.
But it looks too flat. try to add some contrast. With the details, lighting or whatever you want.
    keep working !

I like your stuff! And this last one has massiv potential. Its a little bit better but still kind of flat. I would use a bigger brush for lighting. unless Im lighting contours.
    Cheers mate!

daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, not really much else to say about the most recent one. only nitpick is there's no real sense of scale, it's definitly big, you can tell that but you can't tell just how big without some other things to give it a frame of reference.

Hey Dile! Nice stuff duder, this ship is coming along very well.

It's still bit too flat and I think the reason for this is a lack of colour. Remember colour gives depth and a sense of space to an artwork. There's an easy way I use to fix this:

    1) Pick a shadow colour, work with complementaries. You in this case, a blueish gray should do the trick. Make it very light to start things off.
    2) create a new layer and set the layer mode to "multiply" This is why your blueish gray should be very light, a dark blue will completely grind everything beneath it to black and beyond.

From there paint over the shadow parts. Remember areas in shadows have less detail and definition, so once your done incorporating the new colour, flatten the layers and work it from there again. Now your that your colours are better set, it'll be easier to continue painting normally.

Something that would also help is a nice layer of fog to make the busy background fall back some more.
All in all I love the image.
    Keep em coming man!
    ciao!

EDIT: whoa! huge reply! didn;t see it as I was typing my reply as you were typing yours

Nice matey. Keep up the work, I think you can still learn more from this painting so really push yourself and take in all that critique you've got so far.

For me, it really could use some definition on the ship, and a different colour to the ship for the sky. I am no good with colour so I shall laugh at myself. lol
