The thing that stands out to me the most going through your sketchbook so far is that you seem like to play with low lighting, a lot of your pieces have a great sense of drama to them. Interesting view points too, like the green enviro piece going up stairs a few pages back. Can't wait to see what you do next.

Sorry for the lack of artwork in here.. I'm so friggin' busy at the moment its crazy.. and it's supposed to be summerbreak? HELL NO. haha! Anyways.. I'm getting tired of this one now so I'll leave it here till I find a better time to revive it/continue on it...

Thanks so much for all the comments/crits/feedback, here, on fb and in the EOW threads.. I'm learning tons!

Awesome work here. I really enjoy the grittiness in your pieces. Especially in post 64.

    Ooh pencil? And for me?

It is a good start, especially the face. Some areas look a bit odd though like on the arm where it is a sharp transition from pure white to black, or on the pelvis/hip where the forms looks a bit mushy and uncertain.

Also, it is hard to tell based on the photo quality, but it looks like you *gasp* smudged! I would stick to using the pencil tip and layering washes of light hatching. You have a lot better control of value and transitions, and using stroke direction can describe the form much better.

Try to get you scanner installed and then post up a ton more pencils. You and I both know that is how to improve the fastest.

Keep it up man, and hopefully we can talk soon!

Amazing shading in the last picture - though I am not sure whether the part downwards her hibs is right.
Very good quality for a cellphone though. ^^

Hey man, good to see you're still cooking, and in good manner I would say, you genious you. See you've gotten really good, and that warms the heart, having not seen your work in a long while I had a wee break from art things, but I'm back on track now, heading to uni next year, so I suspect I'll come lurking back to the boards eventually, as I'm moving away from xbox, friends and other distractions (Though hoping the latter will replace itself with the new surroundings). Would love to catch up on art and life in general, maybe I could interest you in a collaboration of sorts, revitalize old ideas or concepts? anyway, mostly wanted to say hi, and to remind you how good you've gotten along the way. Great job man
