Hey Dile! nice improvements like that samurai concept you did, hmm, except for the helm I find it a bit weird (forgive my unusual tastes ). O technical side, its been said before but the legs look a tad too small, and the head looks like it has just been put on the neck. Aside from that nice job
I really like that rendering of the girl, just the bottom part of her face doesn't look right though, but I can't tell you more than that :s
    anyways, keep that sketchbook going

Hi, like the samurai. The thing that struck me about it is the shortnes of your brush strokes. Try to lengthen them out a bit. It'll add to the smoothness of the design and stop it feeling a bit scratchy and nervous.

If your doing it in PS then draw a rough on one layer to get the dimensions right and then draw over it on another one when you've got it right.

    keep drawing!

Darktwin: Hey Thanks for stopping by, and Thanks, I will try to get the basic face structure!

Faust: I see what you mean, Im gonna try to do some long time face studies... or not some, ALOT of em Thanks!

    XALX:Thanks !!!

The Gnoll: I would say that those anatomy studies are quite the only
ones that have stayed in my brain! so, for me, NOT useless, not at
all! I See your opinion about the TD, still Im quite happy about it
Nah you wasn't to harsh, critique is the only thing that will help me improve

Blanquish: Thanks for stopping by, and thanks for adbviceing! I have only a few days left in school, after that I will draw like a machine
I will take lifedrawing class, and I hope that will help me alot . and
also try to go to some figurative drawing places! So the faces and portraits will come, I promise you
I havent done much digitals lately.. bad or not bad, I dont know
but I will participate digitaly in "The Final Duel" so Im starting to warm up now
    I will practise ALOT

Chisa: Your so right.. hm, about the shadows. I really gotta test that!
I keep drawin portraits, so watch out in future Thanks for
    stopping by!

Kais: What you say is about the same though I have my self on both the girl
and on the robot.. But thanks alot for telling me! and Thanks for stopping
    by in here!

Mull77:As You can see in my step by step, I use alot of layers
    So dont worry! Thanks!!

Blanquish: Yeah Im on summerbreak in just a few days , I had
some gymnastic stuff in the last days , wich have prevent me from drawing
but hey, now Im back man, you forgott soooo much about drawing just
by not drawing in some days.. (4 days for me) it feels hard to fill the
paper. and alot of stuff just goes wrong after haveing a huge pause from drawing

ok anyways, did this one for fun, and I love the way to "sculpture" a picture
in photoshop by only useing black&white !!!

    heres my workspace

    Muhaha, very messsy

I checked out most of the threads in here Dile and great progress! You've been coming along nicely. Just keep up the anatomy studies and everything will fall into place sooner than you think. I've just begun my studies after a long hiatus and I have almost 2 pages of JUST eyes. It's gonna take time and effort but you'll make it there. Have fun.

    nice update,
on the last pic, the guys right arm looks weird, like the bit seems too fat and his shoulders not wide enough( he is some soldier right, he should have broad shoulders) and his face needs some work, especially the mouth.
I know this is nitpicking but he has a very large neck, not "wrong" but kinda odd, maybe you should make the chin longer.
The black and white one is awesome .
And the desk...that messy, and my mum says Im messy...haha.
    keep em coming...

wow, what a desk. i always admire people that can work in chaos, i always need everything clean and tidy to work... guess i'm just too easily distracted.

that black and white guy is awesome, dile.
looking forward to see more when you finished your school for summer and i can't wait to see your stuff from life drawing class. cheers,

That process was really helpful to me. You have some pretty nice looking stuff for being so young. Keep at it, you've definitely got some talent. Watch your proportions though. The legs look a bit short on many of your creations. Try drawing from life; just watch people and try to do some quick 5 second sketches of them as them move around. It helps.

ok, that last one is good, interesting
However I think that you should work with 100% opacity brushes first( turn other dynamics off) and then try to build up the shading, it will looks a lot better.
    keep it daily bro

Whoaa, your desk is almost as bad as mine XD

I really like the weapon in this one, kind of like an axe? Very cool design. On the guy, his face looks quite misshapen around the jawline, and his cheekbones are probably too defined. His large neck also suggests quite a beefy character, which doesn't work with the small sloping shoulders but does work with the large defined muscles in his arms.

Your new WIP is looking cool so far, nice work on the folds! It is a bit confusing because of the small shoulders and lack of arms though, so it took me a while to figure out what was what.

You've slowed down a bit, what's up? I'm used to having like ten new pics of yours too look at in my weekly rounds =P

Hey Dile! Sorry I haven't stopped by in a while. Your getting better! I like those folds is the last one. The black and white one is cool too. Just remember your basics, proportions and such. Keep it up!

P.S.- Can I have one of those wacoms? I'm not kidding...

Blanquish: Thanks, I tried out your tip yesterday when I had an OC session and
I found it nice to erease the 100% and after that lay on othercolors, although
Im used to work in 40, 50 % and thats what most ppl use to do, even the
best guys! You see my point ? 100% is what I used on the b&w guy!
    Thanks (:

Chisa: yes, You pointed out the very same problems as I would say Is bad myself (: Oh, and about lack of updates thats cause Im haveing my 3 last days in school, and after that Im haveing 12 weeks of free time, and
Is already involved in some project , like Project Exodus, and another Mod
wich will really force me to draw, wich Is great for me! (:
So, You can look forward for 20 pictures to look through when your visiting again after my summerbreak starts.. just 3 days!

Joe: Thanks alot for checking I appreciate it! yes, Im abit lazy right now.
and I know that one day of non-drawing is like 2 days backwards. so Im just trying some digitals at the same timeing Im writeing stuff for school, so there is not much time right now.. well not for 3 days at least (:
However, the only big project (exept drawing/art projects) is that we gonna
move this summer, since Im out on the country right now, and I wanna live closer to our school, and to the city! thats another thing that will take a little time.. however, just 3 days, and Im gonna draw in highspeed again!

Hey Faust, You should crit, since Im trying to get a face into all of my drawings
containing characters, or at least the basic face proporations, but thanks
for dropping in, and there will be more facial studies! Im just very busy/lazy
    at the moment..

Master 25 days: Well, maybe there is, but I reeally hate my first page.. and
second page isnt that good eighter.. 3- 4 page sux, since I had not patient.
5 page getting better. 6 page IS better, cause I started to do studies.
7-8 page is abit lazy, but at least I have spend alot more time on what I have done!

sorry for this image lesss post, I try to scan something later.. Sorry.

done so before, doing same picture twice.. anyways here it is

yeh, I know, far from finished, but still im trying to use painter alot more often, so, see it as an experiment

You are doing very well for your age, Dile. I wish I could have had a wacom when I was 14. You have many years ahead of you so don't stop trying. When people your age, or even my age, look at others' works on here that are much older it seems overwheming at first. they have had time to study and practice and improve. what I am saying is to keep faith in yourself. You have a very solid start. I will check back again. Later and keep the good work going.

interesting concept Dile, I like the mask/helmut concept. values are looking pretty good. I would work out your concept more, draw a variety of masks/helmut designs, draw the entire character, and not just the shoulders up. keep em coming man.
    This is awsome,

Well that doodle shows that you are on your make to make your own representations of the facial features. Still, improvement is possible

good to see your working hard again
    good stuff
on your last doodle, the distance between the nose and the mouth is a little too small.
great to oc with you again.
pull out a mirror and do some self portraits, they help so much, plus there lots of fun.
