this might be my most crappy piece ever, esp compositionally haha, yet I learned so many things I can take with me to the next one haha!

(the idea was that Norweigians go to their mountains and shoot burning arrows at dragons that actually does exist in Norway if you didn't know.. hagrid said so )

    edit*

without the fucked up... thing... D:

dope idea man! i have an idea though, you should start over - try moving the camera to something more dynamic like above/behind the dude thats shooting or even from the view of the dragons
just a though, i'd like to draw what i got in my head out, but my tablet's still fucked
    keep it up dennis

antonh, vulgar, parsakoira, witek, glaudarien & takashmen, thanks a lot guys! And yepp glaudarien, those are the brushes!

I've had this in the back of my head for so long, but now it might finally be happening (if I get in..) !I've decided that y 2012 I'd like to get into Art-Center, so therefor I'll start drawing a lot more and posting more regularly and I'm hoping for some more feedback and crits on the way! Just about everything you can think of when viewing my work that you think should be better, post away! I love crits!

Okay, so from now on I'll be streaming regularly @ http://www.livestream.com/artbydile

this was the first one I did on my new stream about an hour. Would've kept on going if it wasn't for the headaches! D: sorry for the suck

Damn man, goodluck with Art Center! I wish i could afford that place =/
You definitly stand a chance, especially if you continue to up your game constantly from now on.

From what i understand Art Center is very ID heavy, is this the side of things your interested in for going there? If so, i'd love to see you approach some ID stuff.

To be honest, ID is what I want to do, the kinda stuff that John Park does is what I always wanted to do, I've just got kinda side-tracked with illustration thanks to this place funnily enough haha! Thanks man! This book will be pretty ID heavy shortly!

Ah great! I've been very heavily into ID myself too lately, i love how its pure design rather than just making an attractive artwork, which i find much more satisfying. Ahah yeh thats one thing that i'm not that fond of about CA, even though its called 'conceptart'.org the majority of the site seems very illustrative in terms of content and approach - but hey its still a great community. Look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Great work, and such beautiful environments! I've visited your old sketchbook a few times for a massive kick up the ass before I do anything the past couple of years, makes me feel so lazy when I see people like you hammering the work! Good luck with the Art Center!
