Great looking speedpaints there! Your figures generally have stiff-looking poses. Weight is evenly on both legs even when it shouldn't. The gestures would get a lot of rhythm easily if you started playing more with the ankle of the hips. Try referencing some interposto statues for a start or something. That's the only crit I can think of... Great stuff all in all, keep it up!

    Clochette, haha thank you.

    EKOes, thanks a lot!

smuli, thank you. you have a good point there. I will try to make my thumbnails less stiff next time. hope I can keep the feeling in the more or less finished designs as well.

this week I tried my hands on a sprite. go check the activitiesforum for sprite of the week.

they're a lot more work than one might think.

and I wanted to show that character in an environment as well.
looks a bit too much like the juggernaut to be called original.

Yo! Thanks for dropping in on my SB!

You've got lots of cool stuff in here... the enviros are definately your strong suit... you characters have some wonkiness going on anatomy wise... but hell, you're doing lifedrawings and studies, so you're definately on the right path!

The last couple of speedy enviros, the green ones, are my favourite on this page

and a character with more work and time put into.
I'm not sure about the shoes when it comes to detail and the overall bulky look.
I might change them completely but please tell me what you think.

ah stressful times with uni application drawing closer... not enough time for sketches and speedpaints. but I try to get a few things done everyday
I had a completely different approach to this environment. more abstract and free. but it's definately fun to play around with less generic colors and shapes.
