DSG 062:Environment Design: Home or Fortress within a Tree

This would be something within or on a tree, think about how you could design a colony, home, stronghold, or castle that would be in, on, or involving tree(s) Giant or small, any tree at all

life is cruel only to make you stronger

    whee!

A group of devious squirrels banded together and learned how to build a medieval fortress out of concrete. Then the lil buggers managed to tie it in a tree, and add some sort of playground slide to the front of it. (If only my paintings were as good as the stories... )

I would have done a more epic piece, but decided to stick to a "creature of the forests who hide under trees" sort of thing. Took like 40-50min and meh...

There was much rejoicing in the realm of the Harvest Gods when man created the beer, light could not penetrate.

i like you pics, well done!
Novacaptian yours is the one I like most and i have a question: could you be so kind an send me the brushes you used for the pic (esp. the ones for the tree-top) or tell me, where I can get them?
    would be very nice.

The brushes are all standard photoshop brushes...you right-click in the brush window and "load" them...natural brushes etc.

I mostly used a hard-edged round one though...photoshop 7's brush engine has some nice stuff to do with spacing, scattering and so forth to make the outcome more varied

    Nice work people :chug:

it's nice to be important but more important to be nice

This collection is one of the finest as a whole that I have seen in at least a month. Great work all of you.
