Nice to see some line drawings here...so Painter's pencil, which version are you using? I agree that it looks pretty good, like working over textured paper with the blunt edge of a pencil when shading there.
You definitely have the knack for making creepy bug critters though. I will now shudder and go update me book.

one of my dogs, for no reason
some drawings, not been much lately as things are difficult right now.
had a play with artrage, its wierd but somehow fun. have to think differently a bit.

hi there, nice monsters, one thing could be that you could paint over the black lines in enviroment, it tends to distrack the viewer too much

General Ackbar? Heh. That's an adorable dog by the way.
Something is missing in the environment there, needs to have a definite focal point, at the moment everything in the foreground is more or less detailed at the same level and looks a bit flattened-out.

the pillar should have had some designs on it and become the focus, but i ran out of steam.
the last few months have been a very strange time and I was just pleased to make anything at all. Thanks for the crit, I should address this next time I get a bit of creative juice.

I have been having a tough time lately - not an excuse, just how it is, but today I felt inspired to restart the engine and start to knock the rust off of all that machinery once more.
So I dug up the 3ch and edited one of the themes a bit and made myself a platter of topics to draw. Something comfy and familiar for me and hopefully fun and maybe even productive?
So here's an hour of doodling on the first few this morning:
