Nice new batch of drawings in this last recent post. The studies are great. In the last drawing, the feet seem a bit small. Some other minor problems but over all very good. Keep working hard man.
Here is the link to the Vilpuu cards I purchased, you can specifically select the cards that you want to buy. I bought the entire group, so I hope this helps you. I like them.

Darktwin- thanks and I will watch out for those feet.

watch your balance! some of your figures are still off kilter.
also watch your faces and parts of your hands, they don't have form to them. they just all feel soft and like there isn't any structure under them, especially your faces. too egg shaped add some more detail to them, watch where things curve in or maybe add some scars or freckles or something to set them apart.

i keep forgetting if you have a tablet, which is a bad thing. i don't mean to sound harsh but it really looks bad in terms of the hair and just brush type in general. esp for a girl you want to be able to use a softer brush along with the hard brush. also the brush i imagine should be able to taper at the ends of the hair. it's easy to do hair with the "medium bristle oils" in painter btw. anyways it just kills me to see this cuz you draw much better traditionally.
the lips are really good tho.
and again if you don't have a tablet, then get one

hp- Wow! Is it really that bad, geez! Oh well, I guess i will finish it as soon as i can. the hair is blocky because i'm not finished with it.
I am glad i'm not the type to get discouraged easily!
here are some studies and stuff from my head...look for more finished stuff in a few days.

Unbreakable, you're doing great progress on your sketches and studies! I really like how you're working on the skeleton as well as the body. It's tough getting the body on an angle, though! Keep up the good work with that!

sup Brian, lotsa new stuff,, yuh!!!
Painting - lighting can either ruin a painting or make can make it a painting. It's crucial that u understand lighting to make a great paitnign.
One of the simple principle of lighting to remind yourself = all lighting is light hitting surface.
Shadow take place when light doesnt hit the surface. I know my english are poor, i hope i make sense.
keep it coming!

Nice improvements on the face and body poses, but still seems that you're struggling with certain 3/4 angles as far as proportions. would be nice to see more definition in your faces too. most of the faces seem to be sketched out pretty quick which is good. try to spend a little more time refining the lines and play around with shading with different lighting angles. also define features and muscle tone in the face according to your lighting angles. oh yeah and try to give some of your faces more character and work on defining that distinct style that will make people say "daaaaaammmn thats nice!"

I think that i'm going to focus entirely on form for the next 4 to five months. So everything i do until that the end of this period is going to be b&w. That way i get a better understanding of value and light and how to use them to show form better. I'll also be working on improving my understanding of proportion and underlying sturcture.
here is today's update a drawing of the muscles of the face, some not so finished face and skull studies, and some badly scanned bridgman studies. I gots mo but don't want to post it
Raa- I'll keep all that in mind
