You got some good skills, and a good choice of colors.
Maybe a bit of anatomy, or life drawing to see how you can handle something more realistic.
Besides that, those last characters look very good.

YOur last character are interesting, try to vary your lines thickness.
YOu are on a good way
Don't pay any attention to what they write about you. Just measure it in inches.

Post work shop
Ok that stuff up there was pre workshop. this stuff down here is Postwork shop. I plan on pumping out 2 pics a day. good or bad it helps. I would love Feed back, crits or even draw/ paint right over my work pointing out mistakes. Im determined to have a portfolio by next north amarican work shop.
So here are 2 i did to day:

I just wanted to do some thumbs/ quick sketches. So i did some steam punk samuris. i was not happy with the first 2 so on the 3rd n 4th i use an approach from the work shop. Just layed down random shapes using a few odd brushes set to size and angle jitter. then you look for shapes and cool siluets.This helps you get away from using the same shapes over and over again.

wafflezorz! Nice...I remember you talking about making abstract shapes at the workshop for the bg. Yeah it does make things nicer for the eyes. Keep it up...now I have to try and mess with that technique

Amazing what a weekend with professionals can do to boost your skills man. Really nice jump in quality. i really like everything post-workshop. Especailly like that abstract shape stuff!
Keep those dailies pumpin out man and keep postin em up here, I cant wait to see! Youre gonna get REAL good in a hurry I think!

specily the number2, number 3 looks to cluterred, the outline does
not look as interesting as the rest of the caracters on the page.
This faces are kinda cool as well

the designs are looking great...main crit i have is the colors...they're so washed out and the colors don't match at all. not that colors always have to be complements or something but it doesn't seem pleasing to the eye <~~may just be me
great improvement though!

hpslashluvr: your right about the color. i fear color too much. i have a hard time just laying down saturated color. Ill start exparamenting more .

OBX: Yes i did get a few looks using the tablet. Most people in the fine arts department here frown on ppl using computers. but fuck em
This was for The CHOW.
I Used a Bromesqu color pallet on this one. I need to work on faces. I also have a bunch uf pencil sketches that i need to get scaned.

ur got a nice value range on the figures. but they are way to mudded up. i got the same problem tho. try messing with ur tablet sensetivity so u have to press uber hard to get a darkline. and dont lift off the tablet a lot like wen ur crosshatching a pencil sketch. you gotta prethink all ur blobs of paint u put down. big brush stuff more (like prometheus).... hmmm i remember u talking about diff painting styles but im not sure weather u said u liked the smooth rendered painting or the blocked in stuff. either way if ur going for a blocky effect to get a nice paint u need to be stroke effecient. smoothing is more of a cross hatching sorta deal that layers up. if i figure more out on how to de-muddify shit ill let u know. peace dude. keep ninjaing it up.... geez thats lame.

Got a bunch of speed paints. nothing to cool.. well maybe the Pamando.
i took longer on this one. Iv spotted afew anotomy problems in there. but oh well.
OBX: Hay man i see what ya mean about muddyness. Mot sure how to corect the problem. Ill try putting in some hard edges on more of my work.

waff: this last peice is great. The composition is nice except one thing might help it a bit. The lower right hand gunman seems very stiff. Perhaps a view from behind the gun with just a hint of his arms facing upward at the attacker. I think that would work better than having the need to show full head...hehe i said head..

Yeah hard edges and less spacing on the brush properities display.
and maybe a bit more contrast, I like your range, but some times
you hold back on the deep darks, and on the highlights, so everything
goes on middle range, wich is not always good, but I like the way
your brain works, and the angle on the last one is one hell of a dificult
shot to pull off, I have one critic tho, I cant pinpoint it but theres something
wrong about how the legs are attached to the body, Im not entirely sure
that they mach the overall perspective.
KEEP IT UP man, your improving really fast!

Trying to keep my ADD in line. Put alot of time into this thing. hopefully it turns out well. need to work on the heads and there placement and do some thing interseting to the back ground(maybe texture) then its color time. any one have any tips on rendering hair?

Matt Smith: Im not sure i can tell you what exactly i learned. I think it some technique stuff and to get off my ass and work harder. im keeping track of some peeps i met at the work shop. Seeing them produce awsome works by the hand full makes me feal like im a slacker and i reduble my eforts.
