    Count me in!

I need to redeem myself after my lackluster performance in the last man standing!

Okay, I'm going to vote for Pirates. Maybe a Pirate/Ninja battle since it's such a sub theme here at CA. Plus, I kind of like how it relates to the locations of the participants. SOCAL is a bit more urban, hence Ninjas. The North is a bit more rugged [at least where I am...], and we did have pirates in the Sound at one time... 'bout a 100 years or so ago. So, I'm liking that subject for symbolic reasons.

    But yeah. Definately Pirates.

Red, you'll probably have to start another thread for the vote. I checked to see if I could with this one, but it didnt' give me the option.

    Cheers,
    ~Shane

We ARE doing Pirates for the ACCD vs. CCAD battle, just so you know. The suggestion was a joke, but I'm always up for doing MORE pirates.

Undertow: I forgot about your David and Goliath thing. I was just thinking it would be fun to draw a huuuuge faaaat giant

so are we going to do 1vs1 random groups or something like that? or how is it going to be set up. we could do 1vs1 random or something like that and since it seems like seattle has issued the challenge, the seattle opponent can select the topic for their match. basically say we have ten challenges and then we would end up with 10 different topics.

What is this? Thunderdome-fest? There's like, 80 bazillion challenges going on at the same time. Well, there's at least 2, I know that much.

I'll join up, but only if I can perform my entry as an interperative dance.

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed, The world in arms is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from an iron cross."

    ...I have a sketchbook?

    okay, shane:
could you take the current list and create a poll (if you would be so kind)? never done one and i know you have.
groover, evil, tag, smith, helium - all added to the list in a few minutes.
    cheers!

Hey Groover - nice siggy with M. Doughty!! Oh yeah. Have you heard the 'Gambler' yet? Freakin' sweet.

Character - sillyness. I'm not racist. I was just applauding your graduation from the Sylvian Learning Center. Now, go find a short pier and take a long walk.

only if you let me use your head as an anchor

and what happened to team seattle? did it get too cold up there and the team shrank, or did so cal just get bigger?

as for topics, i'm down for pirates vs ninjas. sounds like alot of fun

edit: what about mediums? is it pretty open? 2d, or 2d + 3d? 3d?

llothcat - well, are ya in or no? 'under my bed' doesn't tell me that you're in socal, but if this is home for you, then climb aboard.

character - you bet, man....my head can be your anchor. how long can you hold your breath?

yeah...um....seattle....um....they're all out on coffee break, but i'm going to um....go get em....yeah, that's it.

As to where I'm located, cantcha tell by the forum postings in the BOTH SoCal and Orange County threads?!? I HAVE shown up to 3 of the meetups. yeesh.

This has to do with my web strategy.
I do not list my location on forum profiles because I wish to avoid flaming spam. I learned this the hard way a looong time ago. I despise stalkers.

All I can say is ""

Ah, well. Let the games begin. This should be good to watch.

this just kind of dawned on me.. if we're doing a solo topic, what's the point in pairing off other than for skill level comparison? Although I would be more than cool being compared to Phuzion, I know that I'm not as BA as he is so that would negate that aspect. I like the idea of individual challenges with separate topics. Having seperate topic for each piece also adds a really cool variety when it comes to final presentation.

Here's the list of combatants so far:
In this corner (add mind-blowing statements of fear here) from Seattle:
    redehlert
    oregano
    undertow
    coondoggle
    prehistoric
    tagheuer

In this corner from SoCal [aka TEAM LASER EXPLOSION]:
    trevor
    sinix
    matt smith
    intern
    misledtomisery
    phuzion
    character
    groover McNab
    evil disco
    smitherines
    helium macaroni
    (concept + interprative dance)
I've lived in Seattle most my life, and if you guys need me to even the sides I'd love to spank some SoCal ass.

    flaptraps - you're in!
orcatraz - as long as SoCal is cool, I'm cool. Let's wait to hear what some say.
As it stands, Seattle is outnumbered 7 to 11.
Mike (undertow) - one topic one battle versus another makes it easier to have judging. Trevor and I will be lookin' at everyone's work to try to make good pairings for the battles. Hope that makes sense, bud. I know you want Phuzion, so that may be an automatic battle. We're workin' on it.
    Cheers!

I shouldn't do this, I have freelance, regular work and my last man standing t-dome, but how can I not fight for my cities honor? If it's not too late count me in, and let me see today if I can wrangle Kekai into this t-dome.
