It's cool to see your T-Dome process, it was a great entry. The door frame on the left edge of the piece made the scene feel off-kilter to me... while it adds a little tension, the composition seems more stable with a thicker, more even frame like you had in the beginning.

Or I'm just talking out of my ass. Loved it either way.

I fought alot with that T-Dome piece. I'll try to scan in some of the thumbnails I did for it as well. I'd wanted a more dramatic comp with a point of view looking over the shoulder of the mouse and up at the bird, to make him seem that much smaller, but my initial sketches never did the idea justice. I'm happy with what I ended up with, but it also isn't what I wanted.

    new sketchbook

I've been maintaining too many sketchbooks so I'll be posting everything I do over at blogspot from here on out. Keepin' things simple so I can post more often hopefully.

The backs of the lights are painted black so they don't blind me. They float in front of my eyes close enough that I just see past them out the holes. Visibility is surprisingly good.

    red dragon

This was drawn in art rage and then colored in Photoshop. Also I submitted the design to PatchTogether for toy production. If you like him give him a vote. ^_^
