    Snudarskogurinn koncept sketchbook

    Hi there!
    I'm working on a little story about an Elf named Evin who chases after her lost dreams.

    Heres Evin the first time she meets Mervin the flyfish;

    And I though I'd post some of the koncepts and sketches I'ce made on creatures in that world

    Snuggi, the ambiguous vulture:

    a weedrat: They are born with huge wings and fly in big swarms to new places to eat, reproduce and die. So this one is without its wings.

    Your last two monsters are definitely more interesting to look at than the cuddly ones (not that there's anything wrong with that). I guess they just appeal to the little monster in me. You should check out the Creature Of the Week thread. But anyways, nice creatures; I like your designs.

    Hey whats up Alice, good to see you over in at Conceptart as well as CGtalk, really great digi paintings and concepts, keep em coming and welcome, I also really like the design element of the last few with the brown bar added into the composition.

    I dont do just creatures
    The last two are my first attempts at making evil slobby creatures ever so I'm really happy you like them. I just realized that though its not really what I would do out of the blue (the bluish sketch is prolly what I would do out of the blue ) I prolly will need some of the rest in a portfolio.

    I do realized however why. The last two requires som evil faceexpressions on the artist while drawing. Im glad I didnt draw them on the bus to school

    I like your cute little creatures, they all look sad though, do they not have anyone to eat?

    Besides liking all of these little critters and their cool eyes, I really like your use of color.
