*The weekly haul* (sizeable and chunky download)

Hey guys - after not doing much personal stuff at all this year so far, I finally snapped and decided to get off my ass and stop being so lazy. So this is a week's worth of painting, all spare time stuff. Some quicker and looser, and some took more time...but I'm just trying to get back into it and have some fun.

    Blah. enough talk more pictures...

    Damn nice!!!

I love the guy riding the crab! Lovely concept!! And the background on the first one is really cool, adds motion into it. Well hell, I can´t say much because they all look totally good! Few minor crits would be that the axe-girls´ right hand seems a tad too long. And the stance on the last one is a BIT too rock... Unnaturally wide spread (at least to be confortable). But it doesn´t matter much, it is just ROCK! Ha haa!

    Good work!!!!

Really something, I love how clean yet loose they are. The Crab one and Space Marine (I think) are my faves. Really cool how you can just make out the face.

these are all really excellent, right clicked and saved to my folder. The only crit i have is that in the snow piece, which is my fav of the bunch but, the girl just isnt believable to me yet, i think she could use some more work and perhaps messing around with the pose alittle more, the close arm looks stiff and short and her back arm looks long.

Oh you are good, nice. You know when and where to let things go, soften up atmosphere, get wild with texture, and leave detail off when not needed. Good for you. I will look for closely Mandryk.

    Hi,

A little word to say I enjoy #1,3 & 5 a lot : you use to have a very special feeling in your paintings (color richness?), and that's why I consider some of your productions as maybe the best character conceptart I've seen.
The face of the girl on #2 needs to be reworked, I think. Right now the eyes, mouth and nose are floating as if they were not attached on any muscle or skull.

    Good job
