    Guitar Hero

    http://www.guitarherogame.com/

I was surprised to not find a topic in here. Simply put, this is an amazing game. I may not know how to play a real guitar, but I can play a mean plastic one. Anyone else have it? It's kind of hard to find now. I was lucky to snag my copy. I know there are some guitarists on this board, and if any of you have played it, I'd like to hear how you felt they did with this game.

this game does rock! My brother and I recieved it as a christmas present and we've spent hours and hours of play time on it. Crazy how difficult it can be.
Also on the note of being an actual guitarist: After playing this game, i actually picked up guitar and have started to play. I play tenor sax so it was fairly easy to switch over. Been learning chords and the like now. But damn does is this game sweet. I hear multiplayer is crazy too, but haven't played it yet.

this game is too cool. As an avid guitarist with a keen ear for music, i found it actually a little difficult to condense an entire song into 5 possible notes. After a while I get used to it, but it's still a bit confusing. Theres nothing better than absolutely nailing a song, though. Its absolutely revolutionary if you ask me.

interestingly enough, I found it easier for me on the expert level than on beginner, as there were more notes, thus closer to what the real thing is like.
