Wow, still floored and inspired by what I see on these boards. Nice to see a great online community.
Well, here's my latest design piece. Concept and 3D execution. Six intense months of learning to model, rig and texture. The piece itself didn't take 6 months, learning and applying the new skills did, and stll, to this day there's always more to learn.
The "Beast" concept. I always wanted to make a character with a big mouth.
Beast 3D model. Modeled in Maya. Bump/normal, spec and color map made in z-brush and then lit up in maya.
Thanks for taking a look see. More to come in the next few months. I'm on a roll.

Thanks for posting a reply. I just finished my intensive studies at VanArts. Graduated this afternoon,
All those late nights caught up to me, and I almost missed the ceremony cause the sleep bank demanded a deposit.
As for the eyes, I'm saving those for the next character. Still in the designing phase. I found this current character to be more intriguing without the eye sockets. Sparks more questions, in my opinion.
