    King Crimson, Tool, Mogwai, Portishead... oh man, this is an orgasmic page.

    I'm about to listen to Deathspell Omega's Si Monumentum Requires, Circumpice. I haven't listened to that particular record in a while. I have wait to find a good place/time though because it's loooooonnnnnnnnnnggggggg.

    Portishead, I wouldn't have expected you to have been a Trip Hop fan Jake, I always assumed Prog was your thing. (Of course diversity and eclectism in taste is never a bad thing.)

    Anyway;

    Portishead - Machine Gun

    My Bloody Valentine - Sometimes

    Really? I love Trip Hop. It's probably my favorite electronic genre with Ambient (though that's most often not electronic) and Breakcore. I love Prog but I listen to most everything. The only genre I can think of that I don't have any music of on my computer is Country. Tons of folk but no country. I even have a little bit of Rap/Hip Hop which is a genre I generally hate. I bet if I dug I'd find some bad ass country music too.

    NP

    Opeth - Blackwater Park

    ... on vinyl! My record player finally arrived! To some up the experience:
    Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!

    Now your one of my favourite music fans, just a few places to go before your John Peel-legendary.
