    Wacom2,PainterX and VISTA

    Hey everybody,

I just bought a new laptop and am wondering if I'll have any problems with my old Intous 2, 6x8 tablet jivin' with VISTA. I'll be running PainterX as my software.

    Thanks for the help.

First thing to do is to go to wacom.com and make sure that you have the latest drivers fro your tablet. Go here:

If you have a widescreen laptop you might want to set the tablet mapping to "force proportions" to make sure you don't have any distorted tracking of the pen.

Thanks so much for the input. I've downloaded the newest driver and hope to test it all out soon.

    THANKS!

My screen is 17 corner to corner.
Would that qualify for "force proportions"

    Thanks
