Really good start, just continue with that studies
and do no ref. stuff in between to check if you understand the forms.

    Go on

Yup, nice start, dude! Really sweet to see all those handstudies! Agreeing with Xaya - a mix of ref and noref is a good idea. Keep it up!

Yo Andreas! Nice to see you started a SB, now keep it up! Handstudies look good, but I agree that you should give us some of "your" hands. Ive done and posted my handstudies in my studies thread, they are my own hands, except fore one or two musclestudies from Hogarth.
Thanks again for a great weekend,
    Cheers Tim

Good stuff. Keep on working it! I agree with Tim, you should do more real life studies (something I'm thinking about doing more myself). Usually it feels like that the nonref stuff goes on autopilot. I always do that stuff anyways. But the ref stuff is sparse inbetween. So I'm gonna try to focus on that.

I find that the Bridgeman pictures are low quality print and are sometimes a little too stylized for my taste. He breaks it down in a good way tho.

I'm in on the pirate clan. I'm gonna make a new pirate avatar! Yarrr!

Looking good! Diggin' on the Bridgmanstudies!

Have you tried letting the lines you shade with vary with the planes? Like some lines that follow the front plane of a cheek (for example) and another set of lines following the "sideplane" of the cheek... Describes form better IMO.
Don't know if that made much sense, though... haha..

    Keep 'em coming!

    peace
