Face sketch - you have some beautiful, curvy lines around the eyes and nose, but somehow this gets lost by the time you reach the mouth. Also, you might want to sharpen your pencil/charcoal pencil thing (if you used one) more often - for the hair anyway. Nice sketch though. Was it ref'ed?

This looks amazing. Very, VERY cool. Moooooooore!

Soz I haven't really been around much - trying to knuckle down and finish these projects. Thinking about arranging a meet on the 24th/25th? (Holiday Allowance, rawr) Would you be free?

Hope you're well - will have to catch up sometime!

Lee: hehe yeah, ill get some more done soon, its a weakness of mine. and thanks =]
Naomi: yup its layil but not so layil from one of her myspace pics. i used a mechanical pencil, so i guess i just used it too flat. i think i was getting lazy by the time i got to the mouth :s oops

    and thanks =]

sketch. (not so) subtle clue in there of who it is

not finished as obvious, and in comparison to the shirt, the darker values should be pushed a lot more

and my friend aaran. if i say so myself, i think the likeness is there =]

i printed out some pictures of friends for a project on thin paper, and it was turned over, and through the back i could just see the darker areas so drew those

Quicksilver: thanks naomi! yeah, ive been kind of busy with music competitions and this exam , but once im done with this we can go to the cinema or something if you like

    FactorZero: thanks

aph: cheers, yeah now you mention it i think it reminds me of somthing along those lines too

bhanu: thanks yeah, i just used the red that was there , its a bit too pinky, but actually the colour of your blood is different depending on how oxygenated it is, where in the body ( which alters the blood colour) and individual, when i gave blood it was a vivid red....andyway! but yeah your right, it is too light

    OldNoobie: Thanks Lee

ummm yea....about time you updated this thing! Good stuff, the character with the horns looks really good. The last piece is great, reminds me of 'silence of the lambs.' I'm not sure what you were painting at the bottom there, but it looks pretty polished for as a black and white peice.

I like your slaughter of the playboy bunny.
Good one! You must have gotten enough of sex ads and stuff in daily media to get the idé of killing a sex icon.
For drawing frost in the air (Ice boy drawing) I suggest you draw the famous snowcrystals instead of spiky balls. and maybe some condensation in the air to get the really chilly effect he creates.
    Cheers!
