Chris J Ansderson: beautiful painting and idea, but i get the impression shes trying to snap his neck, is that intentional?

Some seriously amazing work here! It's got to be tough for the judges, and it's going to be brutal for the last two rounds!

Wonderful... literally wonder-evoking, like a child's wonder... each of them, in different and great ways. Such awe. Poshspice, DSIllustration, Steak-Tron, p4b10, Sammy, Chris J. Anderson!, Jason Chan, Dougbot, Dan Milligan... all of them.

They are all so great and wonderfully emotional, but Sammy yours is the one that I find the most moving.

Brilliant work everyone, thank you for this.
    Cheers.

I am liking them. I have a problem with Dan Milligan's. Because of it's comic style and imaginary friend choice, it makes me think of the comic Preacher, where young Jessie Custer is befrinded by "the duke", and portrayed i na very similar style. Maybe I am jaded because I have read the book, but that was the first thing I thought of.

    Thumbs up

Holy Hell! This is amazing! I've saved nearly all of these images to my HD for the next couple of months of backgrounds on my computer.

The thing that is so cool about all this, is these artists are doing fully realized profesional work just for a contest! I can't wait to see the next round and then later join the next Thunderdome last man standing. Pretty freaking cool.

    Really good imaginative work everyone!

Here’s where the problem started. One day during woodworking class Coro and I accidentally reached for 12 inch mitre backsaw at the same time. Our hands touched. We looked into each others eyes. Coro whispered, “Why do you think they call this woodworking”.
Without getting into the sorted details, the summer did not end well. I fear these passed relationships may effect the judging.

On a more upbeat note. I am blown away at the quality in this round. Red, you out did yourself.

    Hey Cody,

Big BIG kudos to you for getting this thing together! I know how hard it is to get a large number of artists organized. Even when they are getting paid it can be a nightmare! This has been awesome.

    To the artists,
Man, so many ties, in my mind...I'm almost afraid to keep following it. These are all great.

    Incredible work and concepts,

    Steak-tron, creepy and supper fine.

DanM, that final gesture of the full cowboy sells the whole piece for me. Incredible placement. Really, F*ing really nice.

Sammy: goddamn... godddam! I don't know if you caught this link recently, it was posted in the lounge, but it reminds me of your subject(obviously)
    http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...09622962894202

ProstateS: beautiful composition and feel of characters. Really quite haunting.

DS: That little kid is supper fly, I can feel that expression.

I'm sorry I can't include all praise, but I'm genuinely impressed by practically every entry, I can see why it's been announced. Fuck-tastic work!
