    The diary of Matellis

Hey everyone , I just joined this site and it seems very interesting so here is where I will keep my sketch book

So first off I should just say a little about myself.
WEll I am 23 and currently living in Nova Scotia , Canada. Right now I am just working on my portfolio and trying to get good at both painting and 3D modeling.
Thats about it for now but there will be lots of time to chat!!

Lookin' pretty good. Is the drapery reffed? Its lookin' pretty good, if a little stiff here and there. The cat kinda looks like it was added as an after thought. Maybe if it was sitting on some of the red fabric it would help to unite the 2 elements?

    Just my 2c.

    Welcome aboard the sketchbook train!
The general light in the image feels good. I like the little silhouetted statues in the back too. Keep working at that one!

Thanks alot , I think I will really enjoy my stay here. Yeah the cat does seem out of place right now. I did it on a different layer and I have really attempted to blend it in yet , the cat also has kind of a human quality to the face that I have to clear up , but I am not sure to what is making it look that way , I am thinking the forehead. So I will go in and start cleaning it all up and get some more ideas about the background.
    thanks for the crits
Now back to traveling around on this great site!
