First off I LOVE REMMY. He was my ulitimate character i used in street fighter alpha 1 thousand and a half..;p. Try adding some more vibrant colors to your peices a little flouresence wouldnt hurt and would add a nice punch to your colors. Hands Hands and more work on the Hands.

nice nice. might i suggest doing a more smoothed out digipaint? try varying ur bursh. try the airbrush tool, i danno, ive just seen a lot of these, and just figured u could move out. but yea i like to stick at home and do wat im good at aswell. just a thought.

i really like the face. u used a few strokes and really made it read well. ur hand structure isnt to bad, they are just a lil small. should be able to cover the front of the face... watever. just something my eye picked out. keep on painting my friend.

me and my lack of attention to proportions lol.

Kresh: you think higher chroma would work? Now that I look at it again I think I'd like to tone down the pants some. They're suppose to be red which is comp to green so I made it more orange(warmer) but I also made the hair bluer (cooler). so that attemp to harmonize colors failed.

OBX: To me smoothed out paintings are really the latter part of the process and not really a style. If you have all the elements in a painting, it doesn't matter how well blended it is, it will work. Plus when doing quick paintings, I feel I have more control if I use a solid brush and put down solid colors and control the edges. Plus, soft brushes have no structure to them. If the rough texture doesn't read then you can just squint and everything will blend together :p. Next time I do this I'll try to have the gradiants softer.

    better jah?

I think it's your skintones that could use a little more saturation. Saturation is highest in the halftone where form turns, so I say throw in some reds on the cheeks and the forehead. Nothing much, you don't have to make him rosy cheeked, just kinda like you've done on the nose. Also with the pants beeing this high in saturation and such a contrasting color they become the focal point of this image. Maybe you want us to look at his pants but if this was my piece I'd try to direct attention to the face. So lower the chroma of the pants and up it on the face?

Cool stuff, i agree with boogieman. Another way of putting more saturation into the skin is putting it on a seperate layer and messing around with the hue.

    nice.

yah. i think u may have understood my a lil differently than i had intended. i simply ment that u should tighten up ur painting more. also its just personal taste getting in the way. sure i can blur my eyes if i want all the rough edges to go away, but im a man of details. I like to look at a painting or drawing and get lost in the lines. but i also like chaotic ones too. so im not to sure about that statement. i simply mean to tighten up, slowdown and find ur lines. just submiting a challenge. but like i had said, do wat is fun and pecan for u. peace.

here i did a lil, its super shitty tho, i lost all patience, and made it soft as hell. but the highlights along the pants would be a nice addition, just too peel then appart. in no way is this a good paintover, more like a suggestion.
