I recently got this done. It's a male version for a demon race in-the-works for an online RPG. I was told to change a few things (not make them look so undead, etc), but this was the first version.
Close ups (somewhat):
Looking forward to hearing your opinions
Take care all.
I LIKE the "undead" aspects of your design (especially for a necromancer). Why are your clients protesting? The costuming is great--lots of fun.
I like the design too, I think it has a lot of potential, but there is a lot to be desired in terms of anatomy...it's a bit off, and that hurts the image. I also think the black makes the image look flat...a little detail (from that red light) in the black of the clothing would go a long way to rounding out the form. Also, the face could use more work in my opinion.
It just needs a little extra lovin', that's all
Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Absence and booze.
There are no small sketchpads, just small artists.
The make-perfect button must come from within.

Could you elaborate a little more on the anatomy potion so I know what it is that's wrong? Thanks
Wow! I love the hands, the costume and colors. I think the head sits a bit funny with the front-facing dude. I think an elongated neck done with the same care as you did the hands would be cool.
He needs a skeleton. Right now he looks like he's made out of rubber.Originally Posted by nanyacura

some cool ideas, but overall just looks really flat. The mouth closeup to the right of the pose leaves alot to be desired as well.
like i said, some cool ideas, but needs some more attention to make it look more professional
thanks for sharing
Hm. Then I suppose trying to make a curved pose didn't end up so well. I'm used to stylizing a lot. Perhaps that's the flaw.Originally Posted by Elwell
Yeah I've become quite aware of the flat look. Once I get working on it again I'll be trying to fix that. Thank you.Originally Posted by DV8
