Spent far too long on this image... and I have really started to hate how its turning out :/
I feel like I am getting no where with my work!

Agree with the Fat Kid. I also felt that your tonal ranges needed some slight tweaking:
This is by no means an expert opinion, as I never draw environments, but lightening up some wall faces, even a smidge, could help to add depth without detracting from the mood of this piece.
Keep in mind that your doorway is VERY dead center; you might want to try some cropping and play around with that. I am also confused about where the viewer is standing; are we in an outdoor alley in some rainy city, or inside a warehouse-like enclosure looking out?
I realize now in hindsight I should have also dulled some of your neon lights a shade, as they're competing with the light in the doorway. D'oh!

Yeah I thought that too with the neons...
I guess I was looking for a damp/dark moody city, that everyone is trying to leave for some reason or another.
I will have to experiment with the light from the tunnel. I know light should be streaming out of it, but I don't think I have the confidence to put it in I might come back to it tomorrow and think 'Oh crap, what have I done'. I will keep working on it! Cheers guys.
