good stuff, its pretty interesting how you start from basic form, and then make them look like vehicle. Its a good way to innovate

Thanks. that last one i render was for the sake of enjoyment of digital rendering, wasnt planned to be a full body render.... maybe later.

I'm trying to stick with thumbnail more, then to sketch; it's something I fail to stick with back then.

    Thanks, dreams...

    yup

Here's some of the older concept that I still thinks looks cool, there's alot more, but they look pretty crappy. Some of the improvements that I have made ever since this is - I became a lot quicker and cleaner - (so happy) - thanks to the dedication of my time to art.

Wow! All the concepts are simply amazing.
I defiantly agree with Recursive_End about you starting at the basic form…
I also like how you’ve varied your concept instead of staying on one subject.
You’ve also improved a lot too. They are a lot cleaner aren’t they?

I Love them all! I’d love to see some more.

thanks..... your portrait drawings looks nice. Do come back to check for updates.

    Ok, enough showing off, hehehe....
now on, will show the the bad and good art of mine, not just the good....

My "street claim" sister ask me to design/draw a welcome page for her website. Since her taste is fantasy and my taste is also fantasy = I'm gonna do a fantasy piece.

The concept I finally come up with is....
a surprising look to a unique animal.... have her(my sis) in the painting looking suprisingly "awe" while first time witness a unique flying animal. She will be floating in the air like a fairy along with the animal. The back ground will be the old fashing nice looking waterfall.

This is how she looks like.

I just finish the thumbnail, will most likely to pick the bottom left one.
I'm gonna attempt a "high end" illustration, which I never successfully done. This is gonna be fun.

Hey DDC, nice variety of concepts. Wouldn't mind seeing a few figures too, just to see. I'm really enjoying the huge creature with the long stone[?] legs. I have a question, you said you were graduating in 3 months, is that high school or college? Either way dude, keep posting. We'd like to see more!

I'll be graduating college. Thanks for stopping by.

The continue process of the illustration.
the concept of the girl - Trying to achieve a chinese style sexy dress along with some nice jewelries around her body.

a portrait of my lovingly grandma who is chillin in heaven right now.
This is drawn from an old old old damage tore up pic. I hated the lighting the photographer used so I completely change the lighting style. My grandma looks very mean on the photo so I paint her with a subtle smile so she wont scare the viewer off. Hahhahaha

As I was digging through my family old photos album to look for a photo of my grandma to paint. I spotted my my loving mom (left) and her old close friend (right) photo about 40 years ago.
I never thought I would say this about my mother but she’s sooo beautiful when she was young.
    Now, uhhhhmmmm,,,,,, hahahha…..

This is a photo-manipulated/painting. I restore this pix from the original photo and add some touch up to enhance it. I was thinking to blow this portrait up to a 18x24 size and print it for my mom as a lil gift.

    the original pix

    The photo-manipulate/painting

Great stuff you've got here. I especially like those fashion studies. They got a great relaxed feel to them. Nice to see that you are trying different things (I'm stuck with the faces at this point of my "training"). See ya.

Damn, i really dig those character concepts, especially lava.jpg- awesome. It looks like, though, you haven't painted any character concepts lately (or maybe you just haven't posted them). Which isn't bad because i see you're still practicing your painting, but it's still really cool to see those finished concepts of yours. Anyway, keep it up- I can't wait to see more!

Excellent value-only studies in post 15, it seems like it pushes you to concentrate on value and form within the shape before you use line to push that rendering further, rather than allow you to create an outer contour and fill it in. They were very successful (particularly the upper right face), I would like to see you push it more in your sketches. Your portraits are very impressive, thank you for dropping by my sketch book and for the photo advice.
