hehe just playing around some more in photoshop.

startin up my fanart for cry gaia =P which is absurd because there are only a few concept art and two screenshots of the game so far...

i had deleted all my ref photos i took for the original drawing so some of the shading may be off.

hey hp, nice updates! looks like you've really gotten good with PS; your renderings look great, especially the skin tones. I like the faces alot in this last one too, especially the profile to the right.

nothing I can really see to crit or offer advice on... just keep up the great work!

yeah it's weird, i was totally against ps but now i use it more than painter (which i mostly use for sketches, glows, and hair)

um yeah i can't draw cloth i changed the face to look more asian and older like the concept art. some of the hair got cut off in the repaint so ignore that.

hey hp, nice update. you say you can't draw cloth but I'm with joelhinxman, the cloth came out really well. I like what you did with the face up front as well, a bit more volumetric than it was before. can't really crit because it's still pretty rough, so just keep with what you're doing hehe. looking forward to where this goes.

Wow hp! I'm loving this sketchbook ^^
    this is hilarious!
I could never have guessed that the Luna sketch was Luna Lovegood by the way in my head she has a little sort of weird glaze in her eyes and I dunno, she's still pretty but in another way
So.. You'll be away from CA for a few days as well from July 21st ?
I think I'll be reading non-stop.. Harry Potter ftw hehe.

So euhm other stuff I'm liking a lot is this, and this.
The gun studies are a really good idea by the way!! What book did you buy? Is it good?
Sorry no crits girl, I'm loving it.

    Love
    Marleen

@joelhinxman: yeah gotta fix that but it took so long to make the cloth that i loathe the idea of repainting it

    @Onir, Wr00m: thanks!

@NoŽ: i bought the gun book at a half price books, which i doubt you have there, but i'm sure there are tons of gun diagram books...i just didn't want to get an expensive one.

@Blue Severin: yeah, i wanted her to show off the outfit yet but be in a profile position in the original sketch, so it looks off.

ok I just got a ps2 FINALLY cuz i can't afford anything else and got thru resident evil and god of war. i always feel bad about doing fanart cuz i should be doing original stuff but i couldn't help it =P...so some sketches of leon and a girl Kratos. and yeah...dunno how to draw muscles or guns ^^

    Ello,

Things look like they are going well over here and I have to say that your digi skills seem to be tightening up alot, good progress. The cry gaia is shaping up really well, are you thinking of fully finishing it or is it just an idea thingy?

    Good luck with stuff!

    Rich.

well if you dont know how to draw muscles then you should study more anatomy the upper arm muscles are off in the guy with the gun. Remember the bicep is one long muscles that originates on the collar bone and upper humerus and inserts into the radius, One big mass that stretches across the whole upper arm and ends into the elbow. and the deltoid on your guy looks really low if he has his shoulder thrust up like that.

you stuff is looking more and more awsome. The Cry Gaia piece especially. keep it up
