Those are at least 2 years old, GO TO THE END, PLEASE
Hi everybody, i'm new on CA.
Here's a few things i've done lately for an html game i play. It's called Mountyhall, the world is "le hall". It's under earth' caves where live the trolls. You are a troll in it and you fight other trolls (other players) or monsters.
I'm in a guild called "the Hell Patroll" (or HP) and here are the portraits and banners i've done for them.
The first attempt at doing something with PS7 (using a mouse):
The second troll (much better, and much time):
The rest of the family:
A portrait for one of my friend who plays with me (He's in the guild too), and he wears the same haircut than his troll (yes, it's true!):
Just a render version of a watercolor pencils doodle, for the same guy:
Just for fun :
A few monsters:
And an old portrait of my troll:

very good...like the trading cards...
Sorted in order of creation :
8 kills in 5 days !!
Here is the (in real life) wife of Kaskouille and lately she was pregnant, so I did this for her trollette (She says:"Oh, he moved!"):
This one is for a guy of the guild and his girlfriend (who just start playing):
And the last i've done (not completely finished yet):
And here is one i've done to illustrate our camp base :
I forgot this one, done last WE.
Joli boulot, surtout le Kaskouille
Tu sembles ne pas avoir de grand probleme, bonne anatomie, render sympa.
Good job, especially on Kaskouille
You dont seem to have any difficulties, good anatomy, nice render.
Keep it up!)
ARGHHHh dont use lensflareeeeee
Seriously, it makes your images look way worse. Just stick to your own rendering and dont use them cheap effects. Keep it up.
what is wrong with lens flares
Try also to draw different subjucts not only trolls and deamons let your creativity work.
"Create like a god, command like a king, work like a slave."
Keep it up u can definitely see improvement from the most recent posts to the ones at the start of the thread. Costume design is great. Post more
Check out my sketchbook!! http://conceptart.org/forums/showthr...=703571&page=4
Don't worry I don't The trolls were just to begin the thread with something. It'just that they were the last things i've done.Originally Posted by Uziel
I also got a box of tenders pastel for a christmas present, and yesterday I've try to do something with these, holy sh... this is hard ! But how fun it is to work with the colors, I like that! I'll post the results here soon.
And here is a little one, just to prove one more time, that I don't draw only trolls :
It's not perfect but I like the movement's feeling
I like the last pages way more than the first few. Your lines are much easier to read than you colorwork which comes across as a bit muddy. And like people have said... drop the light-effects (your lensflares), cuz they take a lot away from your pieces!
I'm diggin' on the orc reading with the quill on his table
Keep 'em coming!
The next one, I was looking a TV show called Dinotopia (yeah, poor life ... ) during xmas holidays. But in fact, we can only recognize the one in the upper right corner...

Some real neat stuff in here! The warrior with the spear/pike above and the one you posted to the New Media Coloring book stand out for me.
Are you inking some of these digitally? Seems really sharp in parts, if not it could be the scan unless your sharpening them afterwards. If that's the case you might tone it down just a bit, let your linework shine a little more I think.
I noticed something with some of your heads that are turned, I wish I could place it better... It seems the facial features are skewed or perhaps out of perspective with the orientation of the head. That make any sense?
Anyways, cheers !
Thanks for the crits. I see what you mean with the faces, i'll work on it.
I think the pb with the sharpened lines are due to my scanning process :p
I've gotta find the most effective way to get a proper scan (I've got it only one month ago).
